Went to Kazoku on opening day. Food is very tasty, very fresh and everything is cooked from scratch. Sushi some of the best I have had and Udon noodles were amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful .

Such a gem of a restaurant in the heart of Sevenoaks! The food is fresh & wonderful, as is their customer service. It is our favourite place to eat -particularly their unagi and the seaweed salad mustn't be missed. The staff have adapted phenomenally to the challenges of the pandemic and you can really see how they adore putting smiles on the faces of their loyal customers. I mustn't go on otherwise they'll be too busy to take our next order : )

We went to the opening night of Kazoku and wow I’ve never tasted sushi this good. I’ve been to sushi samba roka etc but the quality of the sushi and sashimi was second to none and very generous portions. Service was very friendly and the place is lovely and brand new. Def worth a visit.

We ordered a wide selection for pick up this evening. It was really good. My wife who is Japanese agrees. One dish was missing but they rushed it to us in 10 minutes with an added food extra. First time but will be back. Excellent.

Really really delicious sushi. Organic and it tastes like it! And stunning presentation! I don’t know where else you can get this standard of sushi outside of the high end places in London.

Good food, staff and restaurant. Will definitely go back. Unfortunately a lot of the sushi comes with "Japanese mayo", but so much that it completely overpowers the other flavours (see picture) - so would recommend ordering without mayo!

Brilliant meal this weekend, great to see them open after lockdown. Service was a little clunky in places but new staff and reopening after a period away so to be expected. Food was gorgeous, fab flavours and beautifully presented. We will be back!

As always great food can't fault them for it. Drinks And service lacked, would have given 2 stars but the food is superb and I mean faultless, there are obviously Food magicians behind the scene. The Mojito was awful though, served with dead mint and no limes in it (may have used lime juice), also the ice had a flavour . . . Our table was not cleared after we finished even after our desserts made their way over and then up until our bill was provided and no it was not busy for the amount of staff that were on. And if there is a competition for the amount of mentions on trip advisor then the service would actually have to be noticeable. Training may be a requirement or having a manager present but the food is and has always been of the highest quality compliments to the chef's.

I cannot rate this restaurant highly enough. We visited Kazoku last week as a treat for my husbands birthday and were not disappointed. I was slightly worried that being pregnant, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy all of the delicious raw fish sushi which I kept seeing pass our table. However, the manager very kindly made several excellent recommendations, which meant I could still still have an AMAZING meal. The sushi was so fresh and delicious, we ended up having to order more. It came super quickly and looked beautiful on the plate. The restaurant is clearly doing something right, as it was fully booked on a Thursday night and by the sounds of it had been booked out since opening...I can see why! This restaurant is a breath of fresh air for Sevenoaks and I cannot wait to return very soon. If you like sushi....get there sharpish :-).

This is our seventh visit along with a couple of takeaways. We drive a good 30 minutes to get there but it is well worth it. The food is a great price great quality and very fresh. The wine is always nice and again good for the money. We prefer to visit here than any of the London restaurants we’ve tried!

I was routinely shopping in Sevenoaks with the kids at a weekend where we often stop for lunch in one of the large chain restaurants in the high street. We stumbled across Kazoku on our travels around town and decided the wide coverage on the menu gave us all something we could enjoy so it was worth a visit. I am so pleased we gave it the effort as the food was some of the nicest I have tasted and every single member of staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. The kids tried a range of sushi which you can see being freshly made to order and it was clearly using fresh ingredients given how nice it all tasted. I personally tried a few of the hot dishes and every single one was a delight, leaving you wanting to try more. We did actually order a few more small dishes to share just to see if everything could possibly reach the same high quality and nothing left us disappointed. I was unfamiliar with a lot of the items on the menu but every person I asked for help gave us a detailed description of the dishes and they were all clearly excited by the range available. You could see the people were enjoying their employment there rather than it being ‘just a Saturday job’. That obvious enthusiasm was infectious. My kids (8, 9 & 11) and I all highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait for the next time we are able to visit.

I was so pleased when I heard of this restaurant’s opening! Now I can eat delicious sushi without travelling to London! It got even better when they started to serve bubble teas! We often go and get some bubble teas as a treat for our family. Our daughters love these! The food is amazing from Kazuko. We have been using takeaway since the pandemic. It’s such a treat to have their food! We love the sushis, hot rice dishes and the Indonesian grilled aubergine! Can’t quote names as they’ve changed the menu often and I can’t remember the names.
