Popped in for breakfast πŸ˜‹ and wasn't disappointed at all, it was delicious πŸ˜‹ good portion size too, we had the peel breakfast and couldn't finish it, eyes bigger than our bellys. Tea is refilled as well for no extra cost, bargain. The staff were very friendly and helpful the premises were clean and the toilets were spotlessly clean too with free sanitary products, amazing touch. Thankyou for a good experience all round, highly recommended.

I am giving this five as it is a museum piece. Opened in 1976 it has never changed. Been decorated regularly, but kept the original features. So if you want a 70's cafe with frothy coffee & fried food this is the place. They do have the modern coffee & up to date delights of the 21st century, but keep the old favourites. The breakfast are fun as are the lunches. Some good photos of old Shaftesbury on display. The manager has been there for 43 years, so the owners must be great too.

Looked on Google maps to find a good place for breakfast before travelling home from our holiday cottage. A gentleman described this restaurant as Best Food on the Land! Well he's not wrong. Absolutely blown away by the big breakfast, 2x runny eggs! Everything cooked to perfection πŸ‘Œ better than our cafe at home!

Cheap and cheerful. It's not gourmet but we're a family of 5 and all had something different and everyone was happy and full up. The staff are helpful and friendly and will cook stuff not on the menu if they can. I asked for 2 extra tea bags for my pot of tea which he happily gave me as I like my tea strong. We keep coming back here whenever we visit Shaftesbury.

Very pet friendly, our little one (if she had thumbs)! would give it the big thumbs up, especially when she was presented with a yummy sausage. we had a lovely fry up and a coffee, food was lovely coffe a bit weak, but I guess that's an individual preference. definitely recommend though.

Odd little place, bigger on the inside and funky ceiling. Initially worried, as we were told there was a 30min wait on food, but there wasn't and food arrived after a reasonable time. Food was good and well priced. Not sure they are used to getting larger groups walk in, hence the panic on food but there really wasn't any problems and it was good. Thanks

Fab breakfast at a reasonable price. The young workers where rushed off their feet yesterday but where so polite and attentive. Tea unfortunately was cold, think they had a problem with the water heating up quickly enough. I have kids running around and they didn’t batter an eye lid.

Great place to stop for breakfast on the way to Cornwall, Devon or Dorset. Have done for the last few years en route from Suffolk. Fantastic breakfast and staff however the sosig game has room for improvement. The sausages remind me of the ones you got in primary school. It would be nice next year to see if the sausages are any better after the owners see my review. Other than that the breakfast is great. Many thanks πŸ˜‰
