Had a lovely cuppa with a cheese and sausage toastie at the tearoom. Unfortunately it rained just after we arrived, which got worse and there was even thunder and lightning so we weren't able to enjoy the gardens as much as we would have liked but obviously that's no ones fault lol. We did catch a glimpse of a red squirrel before the rain which was awesome. My dad started playing the crazy golf but had to stop half way round as the rain was too bad, but he was given a free game for another day to compensate which was really nice of the staff to do.

Well kept gardens, free to enter. Parking on the street nearby, so no dedicated disabled parking but the paths are well maintained and wheelchair friendly. Public toilets open and clean but I couldn't get the disabled one open even with my radar key. Nice tea rooms with friendly staff, mainly outdoor seating although much of it undercover. Crazy golf looked well kept but we didn't play.

Great crazy golf and food and the staff are lovely, friendly and very helpful. I could enjoy my lunch despite being gluten and dairy free which is unusual!! Win win!! 🤩

Lovely gardens and grounds not far from Shanklin Chine. Need to find parking down local streets but well worth it! Try Luccombe Road near gardens main entrance. Superb cafe serving various foods from toasties, cheesy chips, sandwiches, hot foods and terrific locally made cakes. Totally recommend the flap jack with choc chip and blue flower! Quite sticky but heavenly flavour. Coffees are great but note cooked food isn't served after 1430hrs. The gardens wrap around a cute crazy golf course. Kids loved this! It's £4.50 per child and £5.50 per adult or family tickets available. Surrounding the golf course are the gardens - not quite National Trust but honest, clean, beautifully maintained and offer some truly special plant verieties. Local bug life is strong and well promoted without endangering any stability or limiting eco systems. The horticulturalist is a lovely lady to talk to, and is busy tending the grounds most days. Some plants are offered for sale and they are excellent examples in great condition. It was a great 2.5hrs spent with our families - some great memories. Totally recommend.

The gardens are lovely. Well kept flower beds and lawns. Lots of benches to sit on. The big disappointment for me was, the shrubs on the cliff top were so overgrown I couldn't see the view from the benches, or when you're walking for a lot of it.

As part of the Summer programme of concerts in Rylstone Gardens, the Sandown & Shanklin Military Band put on a great show. Totally free - just a voluntary collection. Big thanks to the musicians and organisers.

I fully recommend this lovely gardens. We have been here a number of times to sit with a picnic, to look out to the sea and admire flowers. There are a number of garden benches to sit on along the path looking out towards the sea (some have a bush or hedge view rather than a sea view unfortunately). On one occasion this summer we listened to a Sunday afternoon band. We even spotted a very 'photogenic' red squirrel.
