Lovely selection of good quality food in lovely calm surroundings and one of the best beef, mushroom and wine pies I have ever tasted!

Loved the place. My friends were regulars and were very friendly with the proprietor Rich and his brother. We had an English breakfast to die for. I had a smaller portion which was for me ample. Smoked bacon with tomato, mushroom 🍄 eggs, baked beans and toast. Very well presented and excellent value at £9.50. My friends had a sandwich 🥪 with what can only be described as a doorstep portion. We also had the avocado 🥑 sandwich with eggs and toasted bread 🍞 😋 😍 👌. The food was served very quickly as we drank down coffee and soft drinks. Excellent service and with a friendly atmosphere a winner 🏆.

Nice village pub with tables outside and inside. Good range of drinks and snacks including some home made. Freindly staff. Menu looked good but the kitchen was closed when we arrived on a walk. Bar had some local produce for sale as well.

Lovely, friendly country pub in a tranquil and picturesque village. Stopped by for a drink, but look forward to returning for food.

Amazing friendly people. We visited with 2 special needs men and they were so helpful as one of our men needed a pureed diet and they supported all his needs and the young man left very happy. Food was very good .
