Family meal. Great food. Went in just.before it got busy for evening service so there wasn’t much atmosphere. Staff friendly and service was good.

Came on the off chance for a table, managed to get one. The service was smooth and quick for the amount of people dining. Lovely polite staff, great quality food. Will definitely be coming back.

Had the most amazing meal, called in on the off chance, and sat in doggy area with 🐕. Staff amazing, food perfection. Very clean toilets. We're definitely coming back. If you do bring your dog and want to sit inside, it is best to book as just 2 large tables and 1 small table for 2. We were lucky, only one other table with a dog in use

We had a wonderful meal out last night for my birthday at the Fox and Hounds. The staff were very accommodating, all the food was delicious with good sized portions. We enjoyed the variety that was offered on the menu. Thank you so much all who served us with a smile and good humour.

Lovely venue. Great space for large family gatherings. Tasty food well presented. Reasonable price. Vegetables a bit sparse for some appetites and gravy with no offer of extra but plenty meat. Couple of our group were late so were bit late ordering so were asked to hurry due to other bookings which have we never experienced before. Be prepared to be timely. Table service was limited but good when food was delivered and plates cleared away. Bar bit on expensive side too. If you are looking for a country pub with good food in a nice surroundings and don't mind paying a bit extra, give it a try.

Amazing dinner with family. Food was incredible, although portion sizes were very generous so we were too full for desert!! Chips were amazingly fluffy. Crispy chilli beef was very tasty the whole family were stealing it from my plate. Staff really friendly and helpful. Couldn’t fault our evening.

Decided to drop in for a spot of lunch after visiting a local garden centre. The menu had a good and varied choice of meals and sandwiches but we found it really expensive. I understand prices have gone up, but there is a need for maybe a cheaper menu for lunchtime? Nevertheless, the food was good, and the chips were amazing! I would return, but for a special occasion.

The thing that impresses me every time we visit this venue is the friendliness and attitude of the staff. Food always great. I've never finished a meal because the portions are generous. This place sets a benchmark for us. And ... They love our dog!

Wow, what a meal! We visited on a Sunday tea time. The starters were so tasty. The roast dinner was awesome. The desserts were heavenly. All beautifully presented. Piping hot. Service was great. Nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of parking, easy access for disabled, infirm or pushchairs. Probably best to pre book as it's very popular. Food coma ensued after 3 courses! Lol. Will definitely be going back. But may stick to 2 courses. :-)

Thank you for hosting our running club for a post run buffet and drinks. Fabulous chips too. They have a massive car park, great staff and a quiet beer garden. Wide selection of drinks and the passing food looked delicious. Overall a great evening wad had by all.

Absolutely fantastic experience, we booked in advance and asked for a quieter table as we had an autistic child dining with us. Our table was situated perfectly, and all our needs were accommodated. The staff were very attentive and very polite. The food was absolutely delicious we had a beef roast, mixed meat roast, and a plain burger, portions were very generous and everything was cooked to perfection. As it was a treat we decided to have some puddings also the dark choc pot and sticky toffee pudding did not disappoint. Highly recommend a visit here you won't be disappointed. Thank you very much we will be back again.

We had the sharing platter, and it was fantastic. A great range of freshly cooked dishes. Every dish we ordered was top class. This gastro pub is now at the top of our list. We will be going back.

Delicious. We had the sharing platter between 4 of us, and a main meal each and were outfaced. Great service, very clean, very friendly and wonderful food.

Had the sharing platter and a couple of pints of good beer. Not busy, perhaps because we ate early. Friendly and efficient service. Will visit again soon.

Visited for Sunday evening dinner with the family for husbands birthday. Fabulous sharing platter with plenty of choice. Friendly and professional staff. Nice place to have local to visit with the family. Kids loved their jumbo fish finger! A bit pricier than some around but good quality food. Will definitely return.

This was our first visit to The Fox & Hounds and we were pleasantly suprised to seehowbig and spacious the bar & restaurant was. We were greeted at the door and ushered to a seating area whilst we waited for the rest of our party arrived. The staff were very helpful and professional. The menu was very varied and would most people with very good choices. I went for the Thai chilli beef strips with salad & chips, it was amazing and the portion was huge, cooked to perfection! We shall certainly be visiting again soon 👍🏻

Visited today for lunch with my partner and Daughter. I ordered the burger, it was very bland and lacked seasoning and the chips were dry and chewy. My partner had the chicken penang and was pleased with it, good flavours. My daughter had haddock and chips, the haddock was ok but again dry chips. The service was ok, but when i mentioned that the chips were dry, the server replied "oh sorry" and walked away!
