I don't know how we have not been in this pub before, we have driven past it many times, Perhaps because it is quite unassuming on the outside, on a well used road. However, the pub is full of charm with a car park opposite.
Staff were friendly and food wholesome. I had salt and pepper squid followed by a steak and ale casserole. 😋 Will definitely be back.
Smashing traditional, semi rural pub. Real ale straight from the barrel and lovely cellar chilled ciders fresh from the cellar.
Plenty of room inside the pub and a big real sun trap garden out the back.
Food is plenty full, well prepared and presented.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for good ale and food at a affordable price.
Fount of pub parking or there is big car park on the opposite side of the road.

Lovely pub, well kept ale, it's all about the ale. Hardly ever eat there, but it's good pub grub. Filling. Beautiful garden.
Great real ale pub with amazingly staff who where friendly and welcoming - we felt right at home celebrating a birthday and will definitely return, 5 out of 5 for a proper country pub 👍
