We have driven and walked past this restaurant many times and liked the appearance from outside so we went 4.45 pm last Saturday for the first time. The place was quiet on our arrival but was filling by the time we left and was fully booked after 7pm. We shared prawns as a starter . My wife had the beef as a main course and I had what was as nice a piece of sea bass that I can recall. We loved every course. Together with a bottle of mateus Rose came to around £ 60. I would wholeheartedly recommend and will certainly visit again.
The food sounded good on the menu and was even better when it was served. Really tasty, good portion size and well-cooked. Wine was also very good. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
We all had a fabulous time from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was simple but super tasty and presented well. The wine and sangria we had was really nice and went well with the food we ordered. Couldn't fault this lovely restaurant. Will be coming back. Would definitely recommend. Great to support your local city restaurants instead of the large chain restaurants who serve mostly frozen food. Go people you won't be disappointed. Nick Mandy John Debs and Richard
A friend recommended Na Pedra and after going to Portugal a few years ago and loving the cuisine I decided to book this for me and my boyfriend. On arrival we got a free glass of Prosecco each! The food was gorgeous and they were serving traditional Cataplana, a sharing fish stew, but unfortunately my boyfriend wasn’t into this so we had a sharing fish starter instead which was gorgeous. The staff were so accommodating as we asked for our prawns to be shelled and asked for more bread to dip in the sauces. We even got a free bottle of Peri peri oil afterwards! Loved it!
We went for the saint valentines dinner, all the staff wad very helpful and food was very good, fresh and cooked to perfection, could not ask for more!
Had superb meal , the staff were very helpful and the service excellent.. The live music was very good.
This was our first visit to Na Pedra and I must say it was very good. Nice starters and the mains were lovely. My only comment my main was I had the braised lamb, and I think there was half a lamb on the plate. Far too much for me to eat, but I guess that's just being too picky.
Could do with a better selection on the wine list alos.
My son and I had dinner this evening. I had octopus as starter & my son has marinated sweetbreads. Both excellent. For main we has Arozzo Marisco which again was excellent. We have eaten in Portugueses many times & the meal was excellent, service excellent, space excellent. Setubal white wine. a bit like Sauvignon Blanc very good. Happy to eat there again & take families with us.
Excellent Portuguese food. We had kalimari to start which was lovely and shared the lamb (incredible with lovely potatoes and carrots - so much we ended up bringing most home!) and the fish kebab - utterly delicious! The fish was so fresh and so well cooked!
We drank lovely Portuguese red and the owner was so friendly and Knowledgeable!
If you enjoy fresh and homely cooking come here!

Just great home cooked Portuguese food. The restaurant is welcoming from its staff who are friendly, attentive and make good recommendations.
The place transports you to Portugal, with its great decor and rustic yet authentic feel.
Food is beautiful and plentiful, we had starters and mains but desserts also sounded and looked amazing.
This is a pretty special place in Sheffield and would return to this place. A must go if in Sheffield
We've eaten here half a dozen times - usually at least 6 or 8 of us. We had over 20 for a big birthday celebration. Food is lovely, and the menu changes seasonally. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The wines are good value for money. Enjoy!
Me and my wife went for a birthday, we enjoyed everything! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food! We will definataly return!
Absolutely fabulous meal, gorgeous food and excellent service to boot. Very accommodating when dining with a toddler. A nice chilled atmosphere and a good price too.
I've been visiting this restaurant for a few years now, as it's the only true Portuguese restaurant in Sheffield! I went there last week on Thursday evening, since they started having live Portuguese music, which makes you feel like you're in actual Portugal! Great atmosphere, lovely staff, great selection of good quality wines and nicest Caipirinhas in town (although you should also try Caipirao)! Food is not cheap but I know they use the highest quality ingredients so I don't mind paying extra. Will visit you again soon! Want to try out all your desserts! :) Thanks guys, keep it going!
Very friendly service and good food. Particularly enjoyed arroz de pato. A nice selection of Portuguese wine as well. Recommended.
Visited Sunday night. We were blown away from start to finish.
We shared starters and mains and each one was amazing, simple flavours carefully cooked to perfection.
We had bread and olives, fried squid, salada de polvo and moelas for starters, all of them were just amazing, very tender everything melt in your mouth. All this was accompanied with a bottle of Planalto white wine which was fabulous.
Then for mains we shared espetada mista de carne and 8oz steak which we cooked in the table with the hot stone, this is a plus to the experience. Again both of the dishes were delicious even the complement side dishes. This was accompanied with red wine, not sure the name but it was fabulous too and perfectly matched.
For dessert we had chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and another cake that I think it was called caramel cake. Both were very yummy especially the caramel cake with hints of cinnamon. We also had some Porto ( Portuguese dessert wine) on the house that was a nice gesture from the manager to complete our Portuguese experience,
Service was excellent from start to finish, very attentive, impeccable. Really worth every penny. Highly recommended. Will return soon.
Lovely meal and great service. We did want to go for my mums birthday but there was problems with flooding. They kindly gave us free prosecco and were really lovely. The food was great, will definitely be back xx
I would like to thank everyone at Na Pedra for a fantastic evening for my wifes birthday. Nothing was too much trouble for then even to the point of making a special dish of fishcakes which my wife particularly enjoys. Great night, great food and great service will definitely be back when we are in Sheffield
.....because they take their food seriously. When you eat their cuisine, you can taste love, passion and honesty. I havent had this experience for a long time. Highly reccomended!!!!
Wow! Came here with my parents for a birthday meal and loved every second. Service was just brilliant and the waiters paid special attention to us, even bringing a candle out with my creme caramel. Food was absolutely incredible I shared king prawns and battered squid starter with my mom and they were both lovely and then for main I had the steak and was talked through how to watch it etc etc. Amazing service and such good food so worth the money!!!
