Hungry Buddha - Sheffield - Photo album

Part of a food so the advantage of going here as a group is that different people can try different cuisines. Authentic indo-nepali food, nothing too spicy or oily, very plain and simple, just like homemade food. The chapatis were over (about 1:30 PM) so i hope to go over again some other day to eat
I absolutely loved this place. Stand out from the rest of the restaurant/cafes adjacent to it. Felt homely, like back in India. The way they served meals in the steel plates was a wonderful gesture of making me feel I'm back at my home. The 'bit of everything' meal is a really great deal. Can't brag
Authentic food. Amazing staff and very reasonable with the pictured dish being £8 plus £1 for the roti. Thank you 😁
Recommend the 'little bit of everything' dish. I go out my way to have lunch here. Delish.
Wow, totally amazing food, great price, friendly and helpful staff, they seem very passionate about their products, thank you very much guys, I'd come dine with you soon
Lovely, tasty, homemade lunchtime gem! Staff really friendly and polite. Will be going back as the food is delicious and superb value for money.
Excellent simple tasty food served on a thali dish Takes me back to my travels
A hidden gem in the middle of the Moor market. Seriously good Nepalese food, lovely owners, and the thali is superb value. Delicious, authentic and immensely satisfying.
As a non South Asian, I highly rate this place and would recommend people visiting Sheffield city center to take a bit of detour and have lunch here. It’s a no hassle (what I would consider) authentic Nepalese shop. It only has two menus (veg, meat or for the hungry one, “a little bit of everything
One of my favourite lunch spots - service is so quick and the grub is tasty and cheap. This whole plate (bean curry and potato curry) was only £6. Bargain!
Great food at a really reasonable price. The staff are really friendly, too. Good sized portions for a lunch to take away or eat on the many seats. Well with a visit!
Excellent lunch option in Moor Market. They serve tasty Nepalese curries cooked freshly there with meat and veggie options. Nearly all food served is naturally gluten-free, I'm coeliac and felt safe eating here.
I've been visiting Hungry Buddha since it opened in 2017. The food is the kind your mum or your aunt will cook for you on a busy school day. It isn't loaded with spices, paneer/naan which is typecasted as Indian. The price also reflects the food's character. It is special as it is humble, gentle, c
This is probably the best curry I have ever had - £8 all in with a flatbread, incredibly friendly customer service, and the food is incredible.
Had lunch there today and got a huge amount of delicious curry, rice etc for £5. This place is way better then the top rated curry house on Trip Advisor. Totally recommended for great authentic food.
First time here. Was excellent didn't know what to expect. I had a bit of everything and a bottle of water for £10. Very tasty but not overly spicy, filling and exactly what I had hoped for. Will be back again.
Fresh cooked, reasonably priced, incredible food. I had chicken curry and Momos, and I may not eat again today
I got the 2 curry and rice option and a roti all for £9. Delicious food and a good portion. Great value for money. Service was fast and friendly. The eating area is shared by all the food stalls and there are plenty of staff clearing up and cleaning tables. Very popular place but no problem finding
Delicious food, friendly staff, quick service and good price. I will definitely be back! Both veg curries on offer were delicious (cabbage & chickpea, and fine bean & potato)
