Had a great time here, the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is alright. We really enjoyed the lamb dish and they didn’t recommend the butter chicken to us but still would like to try it, has anyone had it? This is one of the best North Indian restaurants in Sheffield. Wouldn’t recommend the fish grill, my husband did say fish dishes aren’t popular in northern India but we gave it a try. Would definitely go back and try some other dishes. The lamb was particularly good!
Great place to eat Indian. Great food, mid range price, happy smiling staff. What's not to like.
Eat here, you won't be disappointed 🩷
Thank you Butlers❤️🔥
There's not many places in Sheffield that serve curry this good. We called in on Saturday for a meal. The service was spot on and the food was absolutely amazing. It was obviously freshly prepared and tasted amazing. The naan breads were perfect and the rice was nice and fluffy (not stodgy)
Definitely going to return soon as the cravings won't go away..
Incredible food, best Balti I have had in years, will definitely be returning here.
It was incredibly busy so service was a little slow at times, did not get asked if we wanted more drinks and it took about 30 mins to pay the bill.
The atmosphere was busy, it was very loud and at times I struggled to hear my partner across the table from me, making conversation difficult.
I would go back but I'd try and go at an "Off peak" time, That way I can enjoy the great food, get improved service and be able to hear my partner speak.
Would recommend, just go in off peak hours.
Best curry I've ever had across the pond. Butter chicken marsala was very flavorful. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food. Great times!!
Really good food and warm accommodation, I had lamb chops and lamb handi, the chops were so tender and juicy, and the Handi topped it up with naan bread and rice
Came in at 00:30 at night expecting to be turned down, but they let us in for food.
Always someone asking if you need something and checking if you are okay.
Thought the portion sizes were small but tasted good
I'm not a fan of the fish tandoori I ordered but qst time trying it anywhere. I also tried a chicken handi for the 1st time, which was beautiful.
Fairlely priced and was more happy that we still still got served at that time as most places in Sheffield were closed.
Would definitely come back for a late night curry.
Does get a bit rowdy in there as everybody is pissed up.
Reasonable price with delicious food! All servers are friendly and patient. I will definitely come again🫶
First time visit at BUTLERS & wasn't disappointed, in fact was extremely surprised. Absolutely amazing food, service & ambience. Very busy but got seated straight away, the food, the place, and the team were (are!) amazing. We all absolutely loved it.
A few reviews had mentioned the mix grilled platter, and how surprised they were at something so simple being so spectacular. Well, they weren’t wrong. They’re a triumph: hint of bbq smokiness, a hint of spice, just enough cooked, and yet so comfortably spicy, tasty and mouth watering, Definitely the best mix grill I’ve ever had in UK. For mains we had lamb chops, butter chicken and fish masala, OMG. These chefs definitely know what they’re doing.
couldn't fault anything at all, will definitely be returning. Absolutely highly recommended, basically Bradford curry house food served in Sheffield in a lovely ambiance. 10/10
The food was quite nice, I did like how we were given a high variety of chutneys, most of them go to waste though so 7 might be a bit extensive. Curry is lovely, definitely try the garlic rice. Service can be improved.
