It’s a really lovely pub. It’s quiet and cozy. Me and my friends are having a great time chatting and eating. We ordered some drinks which are nice, but the food is not great. I won’t recommend fish and chips. Maybe because I haven’t had it for a long time and I really wanted it, and it wasn’t as good as I thought? I like chicken wings though! I hope they can serve food faster in the future. We waited for quite a long time…
Always amazing service from the staff here ☺️ food was spectacular as well! I ordered the vegetarian nut roast dinner and it was the best roast I've eaten in a long time - was fresh, crisp, filling, but healthy!
The halloumi starter was unique but the crispiest bites I've ever eaten!

Great pub for a few drinks and chilled bite to eat. Each time we've staff have always been very friendly and efficient, fast service at the bar and when clearing tables. The small plate range is decent. Good range on draught and the LEVEL Head beer is pretty nice.
Called in this lovely place at random! Ordered the Katsu Chicken burger meal with a pint and it was absolutely out of this world! Never would i think of curry sauce on a chicken burger but its the nicest ive ever had! The staff are very nice & polite too! Will 100% come back and recommend!

Schöner Pub mit riesiger Auswahl an gezapften Bieren. Atmosphäre ist sehr schön, die Preise sind vollkommen ok.
Essen war ok, den Burger können wir nicht empfehlen. Das Patty war sehr totgebraten, dafür lohnen sich die Kalorien nicht. Pommes und die Sauce dazu waren aber lecker. Der Nachtisch war auch nicht so meins, der Toffee Pudding ist als Nicht-Engländer schon ne Erfahrung, die Zitronentarte schmeckte recht künstlich.
Insgesamt würde ich sagen: mit Bierfreunden kann man hier nen schönen Abend verbringen und wer Hunger hat, wird hier auch satt.

Nice pub with a huge selection of draft beers. Atmosphere is very nice, the prices are completely ok.
Food was ok, we can't recommend the burger. The patty was very fried, but the calories weren't worth it. But fries and the sauce that came with them were delicious. The dessert wasn't really my thing either, the toffee pudding was quite an experience as a non-English person, and the lemon tart tasted quite artificial.
Overall, I would say: you can spend a nice evening here with beer lovers and if you're hungry, you'll get enough here.
We called in here on Sunday whilst visiting our daughter at University. The service was spot on, the drinks and food were delicious! Not one fault! Lovely comfortable seating areas. We will be back.

It gets pretty busy on a weekend so you need to book. There is a great atmosphere. It’s a Greene King pub and they have a good selection of beers and the food is affordable.
We had a table booked and the manager made sure that it was available for us at the time we booked despite the pub being very busy.
This was a lovely pub to go drinking at, with a vintage design as the name suggests added to by the chandeliers and wall decorations! The counter is beautifully presented, the staff are friendly and the upstairs seating area is more than sufficient. I had a refreshing bottle of Sol, sitting comfortably at a clean table!
Popped in on the off chance with my son on Saturday lunch time. It was quite busy but this added to the atmosphere. We managed to get a table and spent a very pleasant couple of hours having lunch and a couple of drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful. Large portion of pie n chips ( yummy ) but sadly no Hendersons relish to accompany it. Surely this can't be right, in Sheffield the home of Hendersons. Would revisit as we loved it.

Called in for the first time in over 10 years for a pre concert drink on Sunday at 6pm. The member of staff at the bar was very welcoming and the prices were good, glass of wine and a prosecco for just over £10. It's a bit shabby in parts but not off-putting. I have need to use a disabled toilet and it was a bit smelly but not unusable. The door opens straight into the busy bar area which isn't ideal. Found a seat in an area down a few steps and the handrail was a great help. Overall I would visit again as it had a friendly atmosphere.

Actually one of the better pub dinners I've had. It was well flavoured and the chicken really juicy. Very friendly staff.
The only negative I can say is that it's a really modern place. So if, like me, you like the old pub feeling know that this place doesn't offer that.
