Excellent food and service the deserts are to die for will definitely be dining here again... lovely atmosphere highly recommend to eat here you will not be disappointed
Went to your restaurant in Scarborough a few years ago and it was terrible.Out of 5 people nobody liked their starter or main so we didnt bother with sweets(the service was terrible as well).Tried your sheffield restaurant and the food and service was brilliant.Just making a point that 1 bad meal experience put us off eating at a Ask Italian restaurant for quite a few years.This was our 3rd visit to Ask Italian sheffield and the food and service is great.
We met our friends yesterday 14.07.17 and decided to eat at Ask. On arrival we were met by a very friendly waiter who brought us a small glass of real lemonade and gave us our menus. We ordered a bottle of prosecco and scanned the menus. The starters arrived and served hot, which were very nice. I had the most amazing chicken and pancetta salad with avocado, it was the most delicious salad I have eaten anywhere, and I do eat out a lot! The waiter was attentive and came to check that our food was to our liking. I had the Chocolate tower Eton mess, which was just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. We will definitely return to Ask, everything was perfect.
Booked early for valentines meal. Restaurant empty but staff very friendly chatty even tho they were busy getting ready for a busy night. Food amazing only issue was run out of 3 desserts that we wanted so ended up not having 1. Would go again
We were given a realistic & very accurate time when a table would become available. The staff were very friendly & efficient. The food was lovely (pizza). Thought the drinks were a bit pricey but we could have had water! Very enjoyable π
Me & my hubby had an early lunch here yesterday, we used some gift cards & it was a really nice treat for us. The staff were great with us & the service was good, we really enjoyed all the food it was delicious. We both agreed we would like to eat here again soon οΏ½οΏ½
had a really lovely meal with friends to celebrate a birthday. Birthday girl got a free cocktail and we had a 25% off food voucher, all in all a good night. good food,good service

Went last night before a show...The food here is absolutely amazing..staff are great, nothing too much trouble,nice atmosphere, brilliant service.Very good portion sizes..not stingy..and I think real good value for money.
Great food and service, gluten free catered for across the board, drinks a little pricey but probably the norm for city centre, overall a very nice place for our tea whilst visiting to see our boy in the national swimming champs
Had a wonderful last minute evening out before going to the theatre. We managed to get in despite it being Valentine's day! We had the valentines day set menu, great price and choice. I only took one photo as I was so excited to dive into the dishes! Had a lovely night and will certainly visit again!
Visited here while enjoying a weekend away, for a chain we were thoroughly impressed, we were expecting a good standard but this was above and beyond the food was delicious, the service was great. Really hope the local Ask Italians are as good in the midlands.
Very nice Italian restaurant. Good was spot on delicious. The waitress was friendly and helpful. They accommodated a special dietary requirement someone in our family has. The bottled beer was surprisingly good. Calzone could have done with some side salad or salad leaves at least. Thanks to everyone for a great meal.
First got grossed out by how the caprese salad looked, but it tasted nice

Great dinner, but have to say just how great Courtney was in her role, super friendly and such a credit to the restaurant. I hope sheβs well appreciated. No matter the situation she dealt with everything and everyone with a beautiful smile on her face π

Service in Sheffield is really good. One of the staff members named John took good care of us - when he learnt I am a vegetarian he ensured one of the dishes be made vegetarian specifically.
Great restaurant which is not highly priced.

Great food, amazing vegan options and the service is amazing! Staff is always smiling and attentive especially always happy and smiley brown hair lady (may be a manager or supervisor). Loving it
We went Ask Italian on Valentines Day because we forgot to book it in advance for another restaurant, and most of the restaurants were fully booked! Ask Italian accepted us and gave us food, which was so nice! The food is pretty good! Me and my husband had a great time! Good service too! The Prosecco is quite strong haha, I was in heaven after that!
Absolutely love the food here! The place was packed due to event at City Hall and snooker at Crucible but service was still top notch. Definitely recommend this place.
Went to the Sheffield restaurant. John our server today was absolutely amazing. Having an 8 month old we sometimes we feel limited on where to eat. John made us feel so welcome with our little girl. The baby menu was adorable and India absolutely loved it. Food amazing! Especially the lasagna bites!! I honestly couldnβt thank our waiter today more. He made our day. Such a relaxed vibe & high quality food but great value for money. Will deffo come back again. :)
Me and my partner where visiting Sheffield and we managed to get a table on a bizzy Saturday night, and I'm so happy we did! Food was fantastic and the staff where really nice (Thank you Kelly) Highly recommended, and I will be checking out the one near me.
I thought I'd done a review for this already but it came up again so I'll do it again.
The staff are brilliant. Really friendly and don't rush you with your food and can advise on what to have if you need it.
They only slight negative is that the toilets were really cold (no heating) and the food was slightly more than I usually pay, plus the pale ale was around Β£6.50 for a 330ml bottle, but it was nice nonetheless.
We had a voucher as well, which was great, apart from it didn't tell me that after I added extra funds initially in order to use it at the restaurant, I then had to redeem it, although the confirmation email PDF showed it was to be used at this restaurant. Apparently this is a common problem but it's no fault of the restaurant at all.
Good food , good service, would come again, try the house lemonade it's lush

Lovely place to eat. Absolutely howled laughing at a previous review saying the portions were too small to they had to go to McDonald's, hilarious. The portions are perfect.
Ordered a good Malbec. Had aranchini and burrata to start followed by spicy chicken lasagne and beef paparedelle (no idea how to spell that) then we had liqueur coffee and a mini pudding and affogato. We're stuffed full. The atmosphere was really good and our waiter was really helpful and friendly. Value for money indeed.
