Driven past this gem many times but today actually went in and will certainly be revisiting. My tea was superb as was the soup, but oh boy the cake was something else, delicately flavoured with rose water it was pure heaven!
One of the best tea/ coffee � house on Abbeydale Rd, serving the best home made Cakes � bar none. Drop in a see for yourself although it maybe closed for a little while.
Lovely cafe & staff :) afternoon tea was yummy & the owner made it gluten free especially for me :D definitely recommend, will be back! !

I took my Autistic son for lunch here and his review was "it's the BEST cafe in the world! I'm going to run a cafe like this when i grow up; there is no noise in here and I really like the art on the walls, my favourite is the giant world map with flags AND the toilets are sparkling clean!" Love this place! Discovered it on Sunday after a visit to Nether Edge Farmers Market. The food was excellent but it was the warm welcome from Henk and Claire that made our lunch really enjoyable - so friendly. They had toys to keep our little one occupied and we even ended up coming away with a beautiful Xmas wreath made by Henk. Will definitely be back soon!

Likely the best cakes I've eaten in any café (a truly scrumptious pistachio and lime today), delicious, good quality, loose leaf tea. and interesting well made bespoke furniture too. All served by the cheerful and helpful owner! Recommended without hesitation. No wonder I keep coming back!
Lovely quaint place, a hidden gem and easily passed by on a busy road. Food, drinks and cake all good, and super value. Didn't mind a bit of a wait - go to McD if you want fast food, or a church if you want quiet!
This place is wonderful. Proper loose leaf tea, great sandwiches, delicious cake and everything prepared with real care. And it's a lovely place to sit. Highly recommended
Fantastic cake and lunch. Great prices but even better food! Can't recommend enough. Also we have had whole cakes made including our wedding cake and can't recommend enough. They are very accommodating and just amazing can't say it enough!

Been popping for takeaway cake and coffee every week or so during lockdown - such an uplifting treat. The cakes are delicious. Today’s raspberry and lime cheesecake was perfection. We’ve popped in for slices but also preordered a whole cake for a special occasion. (Next plan is to order an afternoon tea.) I’ve also had sandwiches in the pre-lockdown days- the ‘cassa’ is great.

My neighbour and I have just discovered the salad boxes from here. They are delicious and full of goodness! If you don't have time to wait, you can ring ahead and collect. Love the combinations of salad, fruit and seeds. Will definitely be nipping down here on more lunch breaks!
