Lovely cosy restaurant, great service, and the food and wine was top notch! Would highly recommend! Just one tip - portions are very generous so you may need a doggy bag! We’ll be visiting again very soon!
We were there last night for my niece's birthday and it was fantastic, the food is to die for. The owner couldn't do enough for us, we will be there again.

Me and my husband came last night after a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Absolutely amazing food. We were made to feel really welcome and relaxed. The owner is so lovely. Will definitely be returning in the near future. I have no doubts about recommending you to everyone I know �10/10�

My friend and I had a fantastic dinner in here. We had the opportunity to taste French cuisine fish varieties and appetisers. Portions were definitely satisfying and food was also very delicious. The lady was very kind. I would definitely recommend here to anyone who is looking for a French cuisine in Sheffield 👌
Tremendous little restaurant. Food was lovely. Great portion sizes. Onion soup, fish and steak all outstanding with the huge serving of vegetables and chunky fries which comes with the mains. Will definitely be back!
Tasty food in massive portions.
We were also given free garlic bread and chicken wings which were delicious.
Did end up taking some of the food but that just meant we had meals sorted for the next day. Would recommend!

Dinner with friends last night. Our first visit after 2 years. It hasn't changed. From the welcome to the food it is in our opinion one of the best restaurants in the region.

The quality of the ingredients together with an amazing chef bring food nirvana.
We had warned our friends not to have anything to eat as the portions are generous.
Next time we certainly won't leave it so long to our next visit.

Definitely a hidden gem this place. Was recommended by a few friends and had to try and they were right, it was incredible. Had free chicken wing starters and garlic bread, could of eaten the chicken wings all night and leave happy. Had the scallop starter which was really tasty. The main dishes surprised us as the portion sizes was sooo big with extra veg. It was Definitely value for money. Highly recommended.
A very nice place, overall very good, homemade food, portions are large (in some cases massive) and there is a good deal of complimentary dishes coming with any order of starters or mains (chicken wings, garlic bread, vegetables platter and potato wedges). One needs to be very hungry to manage to finish everything, but the owners are more than happy to pack the leftovers (quite common as it seems). For reference, we got beef wellington, salmon with tomato/garlic sauce, sirloin steak with wine/cream/mushroom sauce and onion soup. Service and value for money are great.. I give 4/5 stars because it is not a "true" french experience.

Lovely owners/staff and delicious food.
Huge portions and everything was perfectly cooked.. We ordered starters and mains. Didn't realise that once you order your food, you get given a huge portion of chicken wings served on buttery cabbage and cheesy garlic bread. More than enough for a starter. Ordered the French onion soup for starter (delicious and huge portion in (managed less than half of it after the free chicken wings and garlic bread) and husband had the prawn cocktail which was lovely.
Husband's mains course steak was perfectly cooked. My main course prawns were lovely. All served with a huge amount of different vegetables (which we took home to have with our dinner the next day).
Very generous portions when ordering glasses of wine. Delicious cabernet sauvignon.
Would definitely go again but wouldn't order a starter due to the delicious free (and unexpected) chicken wings and cheesy garlic bread.
Really nice, quirky and unpretentious local restaurant. Lovely owners/staff. Don't eat for a day beforehand!

First time been to this restaurant Chez Lahlou's. We ordered a starter and a main course and we had free chicken wings and garlic breads before the starter and main course. We really enjoyed the meals. The main course was absolutely big portion. Excellent value for every meal we've had. Lovely atmosphere, Cosy and romantic. Definitely going back and will recommend to someone.
Great service and great food. Wish we could eat more and will definitely be back :) great price too.

My 12 year old daughter and I stayed over for a break in sheffield and we fancied to try something a little different so we searched on Google a French restaurant. This one came up and we thought we would try it. We are both very picky and we cannot say one bad thing about the food. Normally you get quantity over quality or quality over quantity but this has both. We both couldn't finish our main course after having a starter each. I have a very big appetite and I never normally get beaten by food. On this occasion I did. The lady was on her own serving us was very polite and helpful and non stop serving everyone. All im all.the food was sensational and id recommend this restaurant to anyone. Word of warning though make sure you turn up on an empty stomach so you can finish your meal.

Amazing food, the best steak I have ever eaten. Complimentary chicken wings and cheese garlic bread were delicious. Ended up taking some food home with us as we just didn't want to leave it. Will definitely be visiting again.
Never been to a French restaurant before but this was out of this world. Food, service, atmosphere were superb....many many many compliments to the staff and chef
Met friends for a birthday meal great atmosphere, service was spot on friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing. Really enjoyable night and will be going back
