Cuore Siciliano

We loved it here. They're really relaxed and great with young kids, offering them a bowl of pasta or pizza to come out the kitchen immediately. Beautifully thin crust, first time my daughter has ever eaten a whole pizza. I loved my squid spaghetti. As other reviewers have said a few of the dishes are a bit on the small side, my partners mains risotto was eaten in about 5 mouthfuls. But the BYO wine and service are great. Plus free limoncello to finish.

A solid 4 for this local favourite. A bring your own wine with a fair corkage price of £3.50. The service was 5 star and the main courses were lovely. Great atmosphere and no rushing as the food came within perfect timing. My only slight observations was the Antipasto Sicilano having only 2 small bits of cheese and some of the meat was not great. I am not an expert of Sicilian meat but this was not a dish I would reorder. The Focaccia all 'Aglio was also very small compared to the price. We will be back but will exclude those 2 dishes

This little neighbourhood restaurant is a gem. The food is of a standard rarely seen even in Michelin starred places these days. Fresh ingredients, lovingly prepared by a chef who stays true to his sicilan roots and served by staff who truly care. For a little slice of sunshine and the true Italy, nowhere else will do!
