The Plough Inn - Sheffield - Photo album

We ate here twice, but really it feels like a pub for locals. The service was very friendly and efficient, even when super-busy on our second visit. The tables were cleaned between customers. The food portions were generous (way more than I could eat!) and they arrived at the table nicely hot. The
Fantastic service. Booked at very short notice for 6 people on a bank holiday Monday. My mum walks with the aide of a stick. Our table was ideally situated near the entrance, the loo & the bar. The food was well presented & tasted very nice. All staff were friendly, polite & very helpful. A 5* exper
Enjoyed a very tasty Sunday lunch carvery. After a walk around Dam Flask we thought we'd have food at the Plough, fortunately we managed to get a table but we were lucky as they were practically fully booked and had to disappoint some people. I would recommend pre-booking to guarantee a table.
Absolutely fantastic carvery, extremely polite and friendly staff, great value for money, highly recommend
Dog friendly pub on the edge of dam flask Ideal for finishing off a good walk. Great food, home made pies with proper chips, good selection of beers, nice garden Great staff.
Had the liver it was on special. Absolutely banging. Mash was creamy as you like. Liver was moist and still had a bit of pink. Always a gamble getting liver in a boozer. If it’s dry it’s gonna be the worst thing on the menu. But we struck it lucky last night. Lashings of gravy. Lashings of thick gra
Food was lovely with good quality ingredients - fresh homemade chips. Chicken burger was chicken breast. Carvery was all home cooked. The Sunday menu isn't huge but still plenty of choice for all tastes. Really good portions even on the kids meals. The day we visited the weather was really warm and
My friend and I popped in here for a bite to eat today, a Monday lunch time. They offered several meals on a lunch menu for £5 each. Not long after we ordered, our food was brought out nice and hot. My friend had egg, chips and beans, I had pie chips and peas. Pretty good value these days. Can't bea
We have been twice in one week and we will be going a third time. The food is quite amazing and 9ut of four people there was not one complaint. You get alot of food for your money. We phoned them as we have four dogs but they still welcomed us with no issues. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Pubs
Four of us visited on a lovely sunny day. We sat at a table in the garden and ordered inside. We had a reasonable wait for food to be delivered but everything was hot as if freshly cooked. Only I had a smaller meal, but it was very ample, a standard meal would have been too much but the other three
Busy but prompt service nevertheless. Good carvery and cracking selection of local beers too. One room is dog friendly but book early as space in this area is limited!
If you’re hungry I can recommend the Sunday lunch carvery. About £13 for a pile of ham (beef looked dry), and plenty of veggies - roasties, red cabbage and cauliflower cheese were good.
Friendly atmosphere, amazing and reasonably priced food, decent portions and lovely staff. Would visit again
I am giving this review on behalf of my son, who had a great meal here with his grandparents and Aunty and Uncle. The reason I am giving this review is that my Son lost his jacket, so I called them - at a very busy time. The young lady who answered the phone and went to look around the area they
Great pub with excellent food. Garden is large with beautiful views and has an outstanding serving area and bar
Tasty food, great price for the Sunday roast, nice atmosphere. Definitely recommended. During summer the outside sitting area must be amazing!
Binnay on the Carvery on Sunday was fantastic. He went above and beyond to make sure I had a good gluten free, dairy free meal. Top service and top food!
