The Rude Shipyard - Sheffield - Photo album

Great coffee, great food and friendly staff. I'll definitely be returning with my friends and family. Highly recommended for Vegan options
We've been coming here for a few years for their lovely vegan breakfasts and vegan sausage sandwiches. It's a café with lots of books, rugs on the floor, a mix of comfy chairs and chairs with tables. A favourite retreat on a wet, dreary day. Pretty average prices. They have poetry evenings too.
First visit today and was pleasantly surprised. Live acoustic guitar music 1st Tuesday of the month - very fun and relaxing. A bit cramped for a visit with two toddlers but friendly staff and great coffee at a decent price mean I will be making a return visit soon.
Great place for both vegans and omnivores which is useful if you're in a mixed group. The staff are very friendly and take the time tho check ingredients if you have allergies. Although small, it's very cosy and they don't make you feel rushed like in some places. They also have a high chair if you
2 tiny rooms lined with books and a slightly larger one at the top of the stairs this delightful cafe serves the finest cakes and a really decent cup of coffee. It has the feel of a small, university town coffee house and is none the worse for it.
A fantastic place with excellent food and a great atmosphere. Peruse the amply stocked shelves while the lovely staff make your food and sit down to a perfectly made coffee. Did I mention the cake? Only wish it was nearer where I live and not the other side of the city, I can't recommend The Rude
Happened across The Rude Shipyard quite by chance during a walk round Sheffield in search of a nice, relaxing and alternative place to have a coffee and hopefully a slice of cake. What a jewel this place is and so glad we went in, tempted by the thought of coffee and pre loved books. We didn't stay l
Pie heaven! What is not to love about this place, fab food at fantastic prices, excellent staff & wonderful setting. Cosy & comfort in 1 place. Doesn't matter if you're going on a lunch or to grab a coffee, or taking your own booze in to enjoy a meal - you'll enjoy this eccentric eaterie.
Small relaxed independent cafe. Excellent coffee. Has a range of table and seating to suit different tastes. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Free wifi.
Great cafe, very quirky and good service.
