Great old worldy pub with a fab menu, plenty to choose from and a good pint as well.
Great first trip to the Swan. Only giving a 4 out of 5 for the food as so far I've only ticked one item off the menu. Staff were lovely and accommodating even though we had booked a table and the pub quiz was great fun. If a little unique 🤣

Hadn't visited this pub before so i had a pleasant surprise when i did, i met up with some ex footballing pals for a catch-up on our lives in General. The beer was very good as well, the Barnsley bitter was on form and Dave was waxing lyrical about the Stones bitter too. The others were just on Carl
I never knew that they make their own pies! And to my even bigger surprise they make gluten-free ones too! Very impressed. I had gluten free steak pie and it was very nice. Well done guys 👍
Slightly different place to go. A proper home town pub and the people in there are amazing. The food was much better than I expected as I could see the focus was on the drink sales. But I was proven wrong. If you want to have a laugh and meet new and fun people. It's the place to go.
Good menu. Brilliant homemade pies, served quickly, hot and tasty! Not over priced either.
Absolutely love the pies and homemade chips here! What is even more fantastic is the fact that they offer Gluten Free options, and the pies will not let you down, Gluten Free or not! Highly recommend.
The food is amazing!! A family of 4 had different main courses and 4 different desserts and everything was done brilliantly.
The pies were great and desserts were generous compared with what other similar places offer!! All went down with a great traditional pint of beer.

Thought id update my review since its been a while i have to say its still one of best places ive ever been so friendly and kind ,able to have a chat or a laugh and the food is superb.
Can't beat the homemade pies absolutely perfect and always lovely welcoming staff

Food is always great quality 9/10's of the time. The staff are superbly friendly and helpful. The atmosphere can't be helped so this is not to be judged on.
Lunch with a friend. It was quiet as it was midweek. Friendly service and they even let us change our order to get the small bites deal
Lovely food, excellent staff, clean, and dog friendly, but the locals don't seem to like people using their pub.
