Absolutely love this hidden gem just near woodhouse village. Traditional breakfast was gorgeous, it was presented very well. I Can also rate their afternoon tea, the Staff are lovely, and didn't rush you, the place has a lovely ambiance with pleasant music, I loved the oak beams I would Recommend the Memory Tea Rooms to all my friends and family. Great for a catch up over coffee, or a special occasion, we will definitely go again.
To avoid disappointment, I would recommend booking a table.

We had fancy afternoon tea , which was excellent . Huge tea pot of tea & full cafetière of coffee.
Our sandwiches were delicious we choose the salmon with cream cheese & prawn Marie Rose .
The sandwiches came accompanied by salad & crisps .
Our choice of scone was the choc chipped with cherry & fruit , with jam & cream. The scone was again delicious and absolutely huge . ( or one could choose to have a slice of the different variety of cakes instead of a choice of three different types of scones ) .
Mint choc and even a small pastry, which I myself could not even attempt to eat .
Service was excellent & personal attention was given to us from our first step inside the tea rooms .
100% recommend and can honestly say after only a few visits ( which was perviously for Breakfast & Coffee with cake ) one will certainly not be disappointed. It’s a gem ….

Have been coming here for a number of years now to enjoy their afternoon tea and it never disappoints. My sisters and I often go for the Posh Afternoon Tea. The sandwiches, cakes and scones are all freshly prepared every day and are very tasty. There are a choice of several cakes too.
We once took my 80-something year old Grandparents who enjoyed the Ploughman's Platter and Wrabbit on Toast.
Highly recomend for families, friends and little get togethers!

A delightful luncheon for my Mum's birthday. The service was excellent, very friendly staff who are very accomodating. The food was very well presented and very delicious. Couldn't believe the bill, a lot less than I expected for such a wonderful tearoom experience. I recommend that you try this fantastic establishment!

Olde worlde excellent tea rooms. Home made foods in a quaint setting. Friendly greeting.
I had a ploughman's for about £7.00. More than enough portions.
Looks like they do excellent breakfasts.

Had a vegetarian breakfast ( I'm not a veggie but it looked so nice on the menu thought I'd give it a try.) I wasn't disappointed. Very nicely presented, tasted delicious and good value for money. Staff very friendly and efficient. Will be retuning soon to sample more of the menu.

Google has asked for an update since I visited today. This is an exceptional cafe, run with love and it shines through, I would always recommend it, it's busy so booking is advisable.
An independent, family run cafe in a listed building. The cakes are all home made and good (very good) I am particularly partial to a cream scone here. They serve tea in teapots and cups and saucers. The vintage theme runs throughout with good old friendly service too. If you like your coffee strong make sure to tell them. Good for families and private functions.

We came for breakfast a few weeks ago and it was delicious!
We came back today and had The Posh Afternoon Tea. It was absolutely wonderful! We wasn’t sure what portion sizes were like but you get so much that we didn’t have space for our cake! We were able to take them home along with half of my scone!
The place is beautiful, love the interior! The atmosphere and music is so relaxing and we didn’t feel rushed.
The staff are fabulous and so friendly!
Thank you for a wonderful service and amazing food!
I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Came here today with mum, (a sprightly 81), sister and a young visitor from Belarus, for English afternoon tea. This place is just lovely: so charming and pretty. The food was beautiful (cake to die for!), the prices excellent and the service friendly and personal. I've been before but the others hadn't and they were as enchanted as I. And my little guest loved Dean Martin singing in the background! Visit if you can. You will be glad you did

We had the Vintage afternoon tea and it was well worth the money. A choice of sandwich, scone or cake and a drink with added fancies. The presentation was brill and the food too. We will definately be returning and soon

Such a lovely place. Everyone was so acomodating! I have quite a large pram and as I came through the entrance the lady who worked there came and opened the door for me immediately! It was so kind. Then she brought us a heater to make sure we weren't cold and also seated us where it was quiet so my baby and I could feed in peace! All the staff were lovely and really helpful. My friend and I had sandwiches and a pot of tea and it was a perfect place to catch up.
