My mum used to work here in the 70's so popped in for a nostalgia trip and ended up stopping for the carvery. Ordered 2 large carveries, crikey, it was large, 3 meats, 2 large Yorkshire puddings and as much veg as you want, we left absolutely stuffed, would definitely order a medium next time.

My family and I went on Thursday last week and I have to say I was pleased I went. I had a bad experience previously when the old management was there but decided to give it a go now it is under new management. Was an excellent night for my nieces birthday we hired room out only 20 of us attended due to bad weather but we had an amazing time such a lovely lady on the bar seeing to our needs definitely 10/10 wud recommended to any of my friends and family x
Absolutely love this place, the carvery is amazing and the tuna melt bagette that me and my mum shared was the best we have ever eaten, bar staff lovely told them about my allergies and nothing was to much trouble, very friendly and professional I would definitely recommend

It was quiet when I called in after going shopping but I was impressed at how the customer service skills have improved.

I had a burger and salad because it was too hot to manage a carvery, but it looked really good.

Been today first time since Christmas for food a group of 6
Today was extremely busy all rooms were full with customers was seated within a short time after turning tables around quickly 2 had carvery was piping hot and fresh others had off menu no complaints from any of us.

Brought my daughter for a Birthday meal, not been before but thought we would try it as it's fairly local and is under new management. The food was very nice, th atmosphere was great and a lovely outdoor area overlooking the golf course.

Price is also very reasonable.
First time we have been since the new management have taken over. We both had surf and turf and the food was delicious. Hope this continues and the customers come back as the pub deserves to be busy xxxx
