Visited today-we dont get out often due to our son having additional needs and finds outings scary due to noise. The free wifi was ace as he could watch videos whilst waiting for his food(normally he would be bored and in meltdown)He has a special plate as he doesnt like his food touching each other-they asked what food he wanted in each section and it was not a problem it was taken to the kitchen and his lunch set out as per his request. He then asked for ice cream and again they were so understanding of his needs and set it out exactly how he asked. Bought the staff who dealt with us a drink as they were so patient with him giving him high fives and cuddles-certainly made the outing special. Me and his dad were choked up at how they made him feel so special. His smiles and happiness worth a million dollars to us. He has already decided we will be back before Santa comes-and thats a massive plus point. He cannot wait to see you all soon! Thank you James and Chloe

Really welcoming and professional staff even on a hot busy day nothing was a trouble very good food and great service James was very professional and very polite I would say he is a credit to the sherwood thanks for a nice family meal and experience

Everything was lovely and staff attentive, only downfall I had was the chicken tikka masala was spicy so my daughter wouldn't eat it

Seam to be our place for family get together or birthday meals. friendly staff Ben and Joseph on the tills making sure we have all we need same with the waiters always checking on you. Good atmosphere and have the other side if your just wanting a few drinks. Can never complain its great value all round for quality meals to suit everyone.

I had the gluten free cheese burger, which was very nice. They serve good quality food which is cheap. Nice and friendly staff- very helpful!

Always a lovely meal out at the Sherwood. Great range of choice, good prices and nice food. Staff are pleasant and the pub is clean and comfy.

Great value hungry horse food! We had four adult meals, two of which were big plates with three chicken breasts. They have a special offer on a Tuesday. I left quite a lot but my husband polished it off...all with drinks for £24 #greatvalue. Nice family pub...with screens for children to watch if you want them on. Staff were really friendly.

Salmon, salad, savory rice and carribean sauce...a favorite of mine. Always cooked as it should be and always hot. Staff are all lovely, polite and friendly.x

Mixed grill cooked to perfection... friendly staff...and a good pint ..the dripping sauce is to die for ..what more could you want..will return x

Not been here for a while. Ate here at 1pm Thursday 9th November. Service good, staff friendly and food was brilliant. Great deal too at two meals for less than £12. Only down side to our visit was a table of young mums letting their annoying little kids run round screaming and going under tables and staff did not tell them. This is a food place where people want to eat and enjoy themselves, its not a play ground.
