The Lescar - Sheffield - Photo album

Only our second visit. Madge says it was a dark early evening in late November 2021 and it was packed at 6.00. Had no idea how big the pub is with good rear beer garden as well as outdoor seating to the front. There is also a rear function room that hosts live entertainment. Great real ale destinati
Incredibly helpful staff, great range of beers, drinks and a good menu. We were lucky to get a table given we were a walk-in on a bank holiday weekend. The food was good - but the chicken on the sharing roast was too dry. This was the only thing that let it down, preventing a 5* review
Lovely food and really great service - the waitress was very nice! Lots of options, Greta atmosphere.
Visited with a group - pub was very busy but fortunately we had booked. The menu looked great - we really enjoyed the Korean fried chicken, halloumi fries and the bangers and mash. Friendly and attentive staff. Already booked to come back for Sunday lunch soon.
Fantastic pub with a great atmosphere and lovely food. A traditional victorian pub with all the classic decor associated with that era, couplee with a light and airy back room that does Jazz on Wednesdays. We went for a Sunday lunch which was excellent. However, make sure you book early as tables go
Lovely family Sunday roast lunch today. Staff were very friendly and helpful making space for baby pram. Food was lovely and plentiful. Definitely recommend. Picture of the sharing platter for two speaks for itself. Delicious. Thank you to the staff for looking after us.
My better half suggested we travelled to "The vale" to a quaint place known as the Lescar. My expectations were low, I expected a venomous reception considering the vale has never been renowned to accept unwanted visitors. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised, the pub stood back from the m
Brilliant service. The 2 young girls who served us were excellent. Very fast, and efficient, felt like a valued customer. There was no pressure or time constraints. Helped with requests for my autistic son.
Friendly staff who assisted my elderly uncle and gave a personal touch to him to make his visit relaxed - quickly realising that he was hard of hearing, they spoke kindly to him and slowly ensuring that he engaged and felt included. Food and drinks both excellent and served with minimal fuss and has
Basic old school pub with very decent food. Not too expensive and a nice range of beers which cater for people like me who don't do bitters and real ales but there's some for those who do too. Service was nice and relaxed, friendly and pretty rapid too 👍
Fantastic. We put on out booking about my daughter having anorexia and for there to me no calories on the menu. They did this and it felt like they had all really thought about how best to help us. We were sat at a lovely quiet corner table and when she was anxious and felt the music was loud the st
Top notch pub and a favourite local. Great vibe and the best beer garden. Good selection of drinks and food. Staff are always friendly and welcoming, management quick to resolve any issues - special mention to the manager Dan
They got really nice Yorkshire pudding, I was eager to eat tradional English Lunch/dinner and here I had it , really nice. A nice place with friendly staff... The Lescar is an option I would recommend if you are looking to have a feel of Yorkshire Pudding
Good little pub, with great food. One tip - when ordering the three small plates for £15 for lunch you 'may' not need a large dinner! 🤣 My wife loves the salad (which I should probably have had as I'm supposed to be on a diet). Excellent value.
Always a lovely experience - well kept beers, a good range of spirits and fantastic, friendly staff. Great for families during the day and for a drink with pals in the evening. Looks out for bands in the back room too!
Excellent service from the young man with the dark hair, beard and suit jacket. Recommended some great ales 👍 lovely atmosphere
