Called in for lunch and the fish and chips for £10 were beautiful and cooked to perfection, loved the mushy peas and Tartar sauce. Staff realy friendly and polite, everything was realy clean and covid friendly. Perfect lunch stop. Highly recommended.

Well worth a visit! It was a last minute decision to book here but it was well worth it. The food was really tasty and well presented. The staff had a good balance of attentiveness to us even though the restaurant was busy. The prices are very reasonable.

Equidistant for 4 parts of the family so the perfect meeting place. 1 of the family are coeliac and so require a gluten free option which they are happy to provide. Very attentive staff who are very helpful and pleasant

Fantastic experience. We called in without reservation and seated straight away with 2 youngsters. Service was second to none, and empty plates all round. Kids loved it as all the staff were interacting with them, enhancing their experience. Were not from the area but we'd gladly make the trip back again.

There was seven in our party for an early Saturday evening meal , the service was efficient and very friendly. The meals were very good .

Absolutely great. Lovely atmosphere. We were given a warm and friendly welcome by all the staff, who couldn't do enough to make sure we had a great time. There were two young lads in particular who were just outstanding waiters. I wish I could say who they were but didn't want to ask their names. One lad (fair hair, black glasses) spent a lot of time talking with us and getting our table exactly the food we wanted. The food was just fantastic and the whole place was really nicely decorated and spotlessly clean.

Always a pleasure to eat here. We've been coming on Wednesday lunchtimes recently and had Christmas lunch here. We've never had to send anything back. Alan and Wendy are super hosts who go out of their way to make it a great experience. Great food, cooked from scratch. Happy to recommend to anyone unconditionally. Try it out and prepare to become a regular.
