One of the best local friendly country pubs in Stannington. Great beer on tap with a nice selection of whiskeys. The bar to the right has TV screen to watch the sport and a dart board. To the left is a lovely seating area with open fire where you can enjoy the delicious food served by the pub.
A lovely friendly pub, with great food. Out celebrating a family birthday. Lovely evening indeed. Highly recommended.
Went to WI meeting here. Was charged £3.55 for a ginger beer which seemed rather a lot. Buffet provided which was very nice.
Fabulous food, fantastic friendly staff and amazing views too.
We will come again.

Visited for Sunday lunch with friends today food was great myself and missus had starters king prawn & mozzarella cheese sticks amazing and the Sunday roast was delicious great service professional friendly staff will definitely recommend and we will be returning 🙂

We were lucky to visit on an evening where we were given free food tasters. All of it was beautiful.

Booked here for Sunday lunch after reading other reviews. We weren't disappointed, the staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was excellent. There weren't many other diners whilst we were there which is a shame because it was a great lunch out for our aunt's birthday. We would highly recommend and will definitely return
