Amazing staff , the food is absolutely phenomenal had the beef stew and chicken wings . All home made also went with a desert which was again delicious � I'm pretty fussy only review if it's top notch !! Proper traditional pub atmosphere to nothing like your chain pubs will deffo recommend the place to everyone I know �

Service was exceptional despite being busy! Had food and drinks, drinks selection is great with a good choice of cask and keg to choose from. The food was excellent for the money and the quality was top notch! Chips o’ doom are a must as well as the buffalo chicken wings! Had the burger special as well, the ‘bloody lovely’ which was great.
Highly recommend and will be returning.
Lovely pub in the heart of Sheffield. Had two lovely beers. Great relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff peeps. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're ever in the steel city.
I visited the Dog and Partridge tonight and wow what can I say I was met straight away with friendly service and a welcoming reception from some of the locals, Being not from Sheffield it’s always amazing to find a local, friendly place that allows you to join in with what’s going on. Tonight (Sunday) was open mic folk songs and there was around 10 musicians taking it in turn to play their choice of song. I can’t thank Sophie enough for giving us the best experience of what a real Sheffield local is all about.
I always used to go here after a long day in the office.
I've been here recently since moving offices and employers and I have to say it's still a good place to wind down with others.
The staff have always been welcoming and have good banter. It reminds me of a traditional Yorkshire pub which is rare these days.
If you're in the area, pop in and have a cold beverage, it's worth it.
A very friendly little pub. Don't go there for a gastro pub experience, but the food was great.

Haven't visited this pub in a decade , glad to see it still going and will be back again soon! It's been scrubbed up a bit since. Enjoyed a game of darts and a few beers with friends . Lovley traditional Irish pub without the gimmicks.
Lovely Ex Gilmours Pub with a varied selection of well kept Real Ales. A small cosy snug behind the bar with a serving hatch.
Like this pub tucked away a couple of minutes walk from the main road. A CAMRA Good Beer Guide pub. Loved the two snugs and the back lounge. Great real ale selection. Had a pint of Chantry Stout. Excellent.
Big thanks to Matt & Sophie at the Dog & Partridge pub in Sheffield! I organised an immersive 24/Jack Bauer style experience for my friends hen with this pub as one of the stop offs, they were brilliant sports, got really involved, helped me out loads with the next clue for our treasure hunt, very hospitable and to top it off - amazing value for a great pint!!
Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, great food and drink. The staff are incredibly hospitable and up for a chat. The beer is pretty cheap for the city center. I would definitely come here again.
