Went to The Lounge today for afternoon tea, we didn’t realise we had to book in advance but the lovely staff raced around to give us the best service and let us have the afternoon tea! Had a great time, lovely atmosphere and very pleased with the food and the service we received. Thank you all very much!
I'd been hearing great things about this place and my first visit today did not disappoint. My party of 6 all had cooked breakfast which was lovely. Food cooked to individual preferences, arrived quickly and was piping hot. Angela and Mitch were extremely friendly and The Lounge itself had fabulous decor and a great feel about it. Right up my street. I will be back to try the rest of the menu and hopefully experience one of their monthly live lounge nights or cocktail master classes. Good Job Guys.

I have been here 3 times now, I would highly recommend this place. The service was great on each occasion, the staff are very welcoming, assertive and helpful! the drinks were ready quickly and the food was AMAZING!! The price is so reasonable too!! me and my friend come here after playgroup every week and we always struggle to decide what we are going to have, we're making it a regular thing now to try and get through the menu. ...Im not a big lover of nutella but I really reccomend the Chocolate Nutella milkshake and the nutella blondie!!! See you again next week guys! xxx

Visited yesterday for the prosecco brunch. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The brunch was amazing so much to choose from and all of it delicious. Really good for the price too, a fantastic start to the half term holiday. Will definitely be visiting again xx

We had Sunday brunch here to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday, husbands 50th and brothers 50th. We were a big group of 32 people who took up most of the cafe and it was fantastic
The secret of this place is the really friendly staff . There is such a relaxed atmosphere that everyone feels at home. The food and drinks were great and we really enjoyed our visit

Went out for brunch here mid week. Service was good and attentive. Had a great selection of food on the menu all reasonably priced. Coffee was great and they did milk alternatives (oatmilk).
Breakfast was well presented and cooked well. Had a selection of bread options to choose from as well.
Nice atmosphere and decor. Will defo go back.
Lovely meal with my friend for a late birthday surprise. The chicken wrap was lovely and so was the Oreo & Nutella cake bar. We had a brilliant time and the lady serving us with bright coloured hair was really lovely!
Decided to come here for breakfast on a Saturday. It wasn't too busy so we were able to get a table. There was only 2 members of staff on the front of house. They came over and took our drinks order which took a good 5+ minutes to get a cup of tea and some water. We then ordered some food which arrived quite timely and was tasty. There wasn't any napkins available so we had go ask for some of them. I also went to the toilet whilst I was here and the toilet was not great at all. It really smelled and was quite filthy, especially the radiator. It did not feel very sanitary at all and only 1 was working and the other was out of order.
I would come back and try their cocktails in the evening as I've heard good things about this. The food was ok we had a pleasant time

The extra £1 for the butchers sausage was well worth it… didn’t get indigestion, cos it’s proper food.
All cooked really well and tasted great, but I have to add that the pot of tea is THE BEST pot I’ve ever had with a breakfast.
How many breakfasts do you get where you think, they’ve boiled the kettle and then added the tea bags, so why not give me more water.
Well you will never say here, it was endless and I think we both got 4 good cups out of it before it was cold.

On this occasion went for the Welsh rarebit. Lovely thick sliced bread- Not over tasted and served with good amounts of melted cheese and bacon bits. Good portion size and enough for the two of us.
Hot and delicious . Looking forward to sampling more treats off the menu .
Staff were very friendly and helpful, service was in good time ( as for an afternoon - it was quite busy ).
Sat outside , but had to contend with heavy traffic and traffic noise ( only minor down side ).

Second Review: Lounge now has late nights, and is all the more the better for it. After a delicious meal, we settled down for a few drinks in one of the most relaxing atmospheres we've enjoyed in a long time. Bizarrely, I then fancied a dessert, and being an ice cream lover, chose Luxury Affogato, with vanilla ice cream, a shot of liqueur, luxury biscuits, drizzle of bourbon, chocolate shavings, all mixed. Amazing. The cocktails are worth the visit too - I recommend the Mai Tai. You have to give The Lounge a try, it's fantastic.
First Review: This is a welcome addition to the area, a very relaxing coffee bar and bistro, serving well prepared food and with very attentive staff.
I had the all day breakfast, and the ingredients were clearly of excellent quality.
We've been in for a quick coffee, we've been in for lunch, and it's definitely worth the visit.
It's always busy, but you'll easily find a seat without feeling crowded.
Alcohol is served, and it's nice they're trying to hold events (cocktail evenings, day time events)
If you're in the area, or passing through, Lounge is definitely worth a visit.
Had a lovely breakfast sandwich it was perfect although the cake I had was definitely not as good I had a piece of the lemon and ginger cake I only had 1 bite and left the rest the lemon hardly came through and the ginger was an afterthought and was rather artificial.

Did the burger up bottomless lounge n omg it was amazing. The food was above amazing, n the cocktails were so nice. £35 for 2hrs and it was so worth the money. The staff were amazing, constantly coming for our drink orders. They went above and beyond. We didn't know what to expect, but we were well n truly shocked at how great it was. The cocktails were better than you get at most bottomless brunches.
We recently came here for my birthday and bit of food it was lovely the food was great and service is always amazing.
We also did my mums retirement do here with close friends and a few family members, we had the northern kitchen burgers. We was really happy with the burgers, cocktails and service ! Would 100% recommend to anyone who hasn't been here, I really love the place.
Been a few times now and never had anything other than great food. Only ever been for breakfast but want to come back for lunch maybe even a few cocktails in the evening. It was recommended to us and so glad it was. Thank you!
