We visited tonight with friends after not been for around a year, the last visit was average... tonight we were really impressed, the food and service was amazing!.. the bhajis were the best we've had, and as for the mains.. we picked things that weren't on the menu, which the waiter chose and tweaked for our taste, and wow! The best curry we've had in a long time!! The king prawns were so fresh and tasty and the garlic naan was so lovely and fresh!. All the food was good, and very tasty, we will definately come more often! No wonder they won an award recently, very well deserved!
In the past I have been in the old vine pub for many many years. So decided to call in tonight for a meal after hearing recommendations of the new place. I must say the inside is of the new Vine Indian is a really nice place to eat & drink, after a full refurbishment.
The starters and mains are excellent, with a good choice, and a good size. The drinks menu also offers a good choice.
Shall definitely return again.
And to top it off a great friendly team to serve you.

Just dined at the vine restaurant. Excellent. The food was amazing, poppadoms fresh and great tasting pickles moved on to tandoori mixed grill again excellent .we ordered 2 curry's recommend by the waiter both packed full of chunky fresh vegetables and super big king prawns. lamb curry looked fantastic. Great evening .great food, great service cant wait to return to the vine

We used to go to Cutlers Spice but after the last two visits with bad food and bad service. Think we've found our new indian from the greeting at the door to the friendliness of the staff, food amazing to leaving 5star all the way:-)
I’m giving this 5* although I could have taken a * away. The food and taste was excellent, the service was very good and the cleanliness excellent. So why would I say I should reduce by 1*; Firstly, please take note, I didn’t think it was right you brought the wine to the table already opened as we don’t know how long it had been opened or if that was the correct wine to what we’d paid for. Not saying the restaurant had done that but it’s something that’s restaurant etiquette. Second; we booked on line and in the comments box we placed that one of us had a peanut allergy and yet this wasn’t mentioned to us when we were approached for our food request. We feel sure that these will be rectified as it didn’t spoil our night.

Family meal 6 of us on a busy Saturday night. Excellent food and drink all had something different and thoroughly enjoyed it Great atmosphere and service 5 star evening.

The restaurant is clean and cosy. Mo was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the menu.
Our food was outstanding. I had a very spicy, hot, and tasty rezala and Elena had a cheese and chicken dish. Everything was well presented and delicious.

Staff are incredibly nice.
Pickle tray is very pureed. Even the lime pickle. Some people love this, I prefer a few more chunks in the lime pickle and mango chutney but to each their own. Still very tasty!
We had to wait in the bar area after this as the waiter accidentally tripped and split a while pint over the table. It happens. Poor lad looked terrified. Manager dealt with it and no dramas.
Starters were delish. Mixed starter so onion bhaji, kebab and potato thing. Very very tasty.
Main course was delish but, ironically compared to the poppadom chutneys, very chunky. Big chunks of peppers and onion etc.
Would happily return.

No need to write anymore as this explains it for itself….. albeit I want to tell you how good this place is….

Had a meal at the vine last night and it was amazing! Tandoori chicken platter and mixed vegetables was absolutely gorgeous!. The restaurant was full and and had lovely atmosphere. All the staff are so attentive and friendly . The owner remembered us from last visit and came over to see if everything was ok and chatted to us and that makes a difference. Its the small detail that makes this restaurant and I definitely recommend it!. Thanks all the Vine team xx
The food spoke for its self it was absolutely Amazing, Mo helped us to choose our meals as we wanted something different to our usual choices & he got it spot on for us, the restaurant was busy but they still managed to get us a table at short notice & to top it off the staff were great & we didnt have to wait long between courses ... Cant wait until next time, it won`t be long.
Amazing tasty food had 3 course meals with lots of poperdome and pickle trays , the restaurant was busy but the staff still remained very professional polite and very helpful . 2nd time of visiting will be going again 😊
Rang up last minute. Got us in fast. Absolutely wonderful food, staff are lovely & to say we enjoyed it was an understatement. It was one of the best meals we’ve had out in a very long time. Would highly recommend 5*****

We ate here 2 nights in a row while staying in the area and chose medium dishes which had plenty of flavour but were not overly hot. The ghee rice with ground nuts was great although this is the other name for peanuts rather than nuts which have been ground. My husband says it's the best Indian meal he has ever had. We wish it was closer to where we live.
Ordered food for collection at 6.30 we turned up an hour later @ 7.30 they kept in contact with us nothing was a problem fantastic service and wonderful food

Ten of us enjoyed a family birthday meal here on Sunday afternoon with ages of our group ranging from 14 to 80 plus….everybody really enjoyed their meal from the kids korma’s to the spicy Jalfrezi, the food was excellent; freshly prepared with none of the artificial ‘neon’ colours that you find in some restaurants. The staff were attentive but not hovering over you, the Vine have got the level of service just right.
Friendly & reasonably priced with a great atmosphere, the best Indian restaurant in the area …we’ll definitely be going back!
