Lovely pub with a good range of real ales from Neepsend brewery + a nice mix of guest taps. Nice & knowledgeable bar staff, good range of crisps + sandwiches for £1.

One of the best pubs in the world, for conversation, cheese and onion cobs, and cask. Never thought that much of it before I moved to Sheffield, a bit too "CAMRA" but I was wrong.

Don’t be fooled by its exterior as this is a great little local ales house. All of the beers are from the Neepsend brewery but there is still a good selection to have. This is where we stayed the longest during our Sheffield pub crawl. AS well as the beer there are some good old fashion cobs/rolls/balm cakes, what ever you want to call them at a very reasonable price. I would recommend a visit if you like real ale.

Been here a couple of times now and it is a great pub with a lovely buzzing atmosphere. That was until i entered the room next door... what an atmosphere change. Stepped in and the happiness was sucked away, glares going in and out, what grumpy bunch. I think I'll stay in main room next time even if I have to stand.

Got recommended this pub by locals on our first trip to Sheffield. Was not disappointed. Friendly staff and helpful , traditional pub setting and boy is that chocolate stout good. Also got a lovely rum. Loved it. And pretty good prices for quality drinks. Can't wait to go back. Try it for sure.

This place is a "gem" of a pub... great atmosphere... superb ales... top service and finally great value for money. And to a Yorkshireman you can't beat some good VFM... oh and its got a lovely small beer garden at the rear... well worth finding the Wellington.... A stones throw from the Shalesmoor tram stop...

One of my favourite pubs, anywhere. Friendly, traditional, and always clean and tidy. The beer is superb, the prices are keen, and the sandwiches are a steal at just £1. Cracking beer garden when the weather allows too.

Always like coming in here. Good crowd, good beer garden, good selection of spirits and tap, live bands. Perfect spot for a pre gig drink or a rendezvous with old friends. Come on down 👌🏻

A gem. Immaculately kept beer at affordable prices. Cosy interior and a sun trap backyard. Pub heaven.

Great place to meet an old friend, Very friendly vibes, was immediately invited into an impromptu quiz, no order, chaos and absolute hysterics. A surprisingly fun night. It's the people that make a great place.
