I went their and I ordered cortado and flat white and cruffins was delicious
Always come here several times a week - always immaculate vibes and service. I have consumed too many croissants. Will still continue to do so nonetheless š„
They do unusual croissants with things like fish fingers which I didn't expect. I had one and it was pretty good. I'm not a big coffee shop person but this place had quick service and was fine with a medium sized group. Prices maybe a touch heavy but was nice enough overall for something a bit different. Would go back if in the area.
You know what, you can keep your "Costas" and your "Starbucks". Coffee shops like this one have more character and better food.
Does Starbucks do croissants with fish fingers and cheese? Have Costa knocked through to the old bank next door and put a tree and a bar in there? No, they haven't.
Not only is the food great, but it's well priced. Croissant and a hot drink for just over £3. I'll have some of that.
Lots of flavour and character squeezed into a peaceful and welcoming space. This coffee shop is very down to earth, selling a delicious blend of coffee and food made fresh. The even bake all the bread and pastries on site.
The staff are very friendly and chatty, and more than happy to answer any questions you may have. On Thursdays at 7pm, the host a regular jazz night with live musicians.
Fantastic service, nice coffee but average pain au chocolat.
It was my first time visiting this coffee shop and itās been on my list for a long time.
This coffee shop is located in the Broomhill area of Sheffield, near the Morrisonās supermarket. It opens from 8am-6pm usually.
The cafe is pretty small overall and with COVID measures in place there was arguably less seating available which makes complete sense.
The staff that served me was very friendly and seemed to love his job, Iām thinking he was the manager? He took care of my order and sat me and friends down at a table.
I ordered the pain au chocolat and the salted caramel brownie with an iced mocha.
They offer student discount, my total came to £8.90.
The brownie was tasty and soft, the pain au chocolat wasnāt as tasty and was more on the tougher side to munch on and the iced mocha tasted great.
Overall, fantastic service and good coffee but the pain au chocolat just didnāt taste good on the day I visited unfortunately! However, Iād still recommend this cafĆ© for a nice coffee and chill.
I have been to the cafe couple of times. Itās a nice and quiet place. I love the coffee and pastries are so delicious and fresh. Highly recommendedšš¼
Cawa on Broomhill is my fav spot in Sheffield I must say.
I love Cawa coffee generally.. its not like any other in the city!
And I love the recent very elegant extension on tne Broomhill branch...
The coffee is good, pastries are great (if you get fresh ones) but why they still serve everything in takeaway cups and cardboard trays I donāt know? Itās not cheap and would be so much nicer in a proper mug or on a proper plate? Also more sustainable.
Great atmosphere and service - staff are really friendly and don't seem overworked. Croissants are big but I wish the raspberry brownie had more raspberry!
Decent quality coffee and lovely pastries. But the environment, even in the newly extended room, always feels a little temporary and unfinished.
The sandwich with sourdough are the best that I have! Cawa has an incredible range of handmade sourdoughs. I really love Capresse and focaccia. I'll improvement the coffee presentation and it's size. PD: We went in Covid situation, so the presentation was with disposable things.
Genuinely one of the best coffee shops I've ever been to. Great staff, fantastic cake selection and absolutely top notch coffee. Both the flat white and cortado were absolutely top drawer. We had a pain au chocolat and hummus and roast veg sandwich, both absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
