Absolutely tasty food, the carvery meals are gorgeous and so is the afters, the ice cream strawberry sundae is sheer heaven and its also topped off with cream and shortbread, beautiful!
Took the family last night 5pm for the pizza offer, got seated down easily and we all ordered the Calzone Carvery Pizza which came in 10 minutes of ordering. Was lovely, definitely order this pizza again.👌
Great carvery as always. Staff always happy to help. Even though the queue to pay was long, it moved fairly quickly.
Chips weren’t cooked properly again though with the burger that we ordered.
We went on a Sunday as a large group. Half the group wanted a carvery and half didn't so it was a perfect fit.
You can order via an app which skips the queue. The non carvery food came really quick and the carvery is very much like Toby Carvery where you go and help yourself. The food was definitely

Food was good, hot and well presented.
They went out of their way to help with a party of 9 and we all had a great time.
Veggie bowl for 99p for small children was a bonus and would definitely go back!
Beautiful setting in the peak district.
Plenty of outside tables.
The inside is spacious with lots of seating.
Although a large area there are small corners with a couple of tables tucked away around the place.
The food was good and although I didn't have the carvery it looked very good.

Food was perfect, as always. Apple sauce would have been a great addition but apparently this is only available on Sundays.
Husband and kids were very pleased with their puddings.
Also very grateful to have been able to use blue light card discount.
Staff were friendly and welcoming, as always.
Called in for breakfast and was surprised to see that it's an All you can eat buffet.the quality of the food was very good but some items were cold . excellent value for money and will definitely go again
This place is a carvery and the food is delicious. Be aware, however, that this place gets busy and it maybe wise to book a reservation before you arrive. The staff are very busy too but still raise a smile and a happy welcome.

The food was an excellent value and the staff was excellent. We did have a child with us and we found the ice cream machine had not been turned on yet or the toppings containers filled. Dave C did a great job as well as the bar tender/cashier.
Quick service, great food! You can even go for a a helicopter ride in the field opposite
Great carvery, excellent value for money, friendly service. Will definitely go back again and again. Plenty of parking, including disabled spaces, easy entrance, disabled toilets. Children's climbing frame area safely fenced in and outdoor seating for warmer weather. Dinner looked and tasted so good
We had a massive variety of foods very grateful for the manager Laurence Hinchliffe he really was amazing and helped us as much as he can when they accidentally forget to cancel our order as they ran out of food they still managed to get us some food ready to collect and did above and beyond to help
Absolutely can’t fault it for the price. Beautifully carved slabs of meat (thank you Dave the carver) and lots of options of veggies.
Roast potatoes could do with altering so they are less dry but that’s just me being picky.
