Most genuine food and hosts. We had shrimps and seafood done three ways following the owner's suggestions and didn't regret it!
小龙虾太好吃 the hotpot was so good as well. The ingredients not as good as hai di lao but the base comes with huge chunks of lamb inside, omg is it definitely worth the money!! Would come back again.
What a find. This has to be the most authentic “normal” Chinese restaurant Ive been in since “food street” with the builders and service staff in Shenzhen when Shenzhen was being redeveloped into a mega city in the 90s.

Would definitely recommend! Really tasty, authentic food, reasonably priced, massive portion sizes, ordered way too much. Crispy duck pancakes were amazing, king prawn fried rice had so many prawns!
Very good hotpot buffet. £17.99 includes soft drink, you can refill on the meats and veg (but one round koed me 😅). Excellent range of soup base to choose from and sauce is DIY mix. Will go again next time I go Sheffield 😁

Went here for my first ever hot pot experience, it was lovely food, very helpful young lady helped us make a decision for what to get, as complete newbies. The spicy broth we got was delicious! lots and lots of different things to try on their menu, and reasonably priced also!
Delicious hotpot, great value and friendly staff. We are a Chinese family who have tried a lot of restaurants in Yorkshire and this is definitely near the top. Will visit again next time in Sheffield!

Very frankly speaking, it’s the best hot pot place I have ever been in UK. And it’s my 3rd Visit given I’m living in London. Much better than the ones in London and more importantly, it’s at a good value! £18 for hot pot buffet + barbecue. You couldn’t ask for more. We will definitely go for the 4th
Really enjoyed! This is the first Chinese restaurant we ate at that the food doesn't taste "generic." The servings are big. Really good value. The young lady waitress was so accommodating and very attentive. There was a guy, likely the chef, who even said hello. We would certainly come back and eat

I’ve been to a couple of hotpot places in Sheffield but this is hands down the best one! The staff are very friendly, full of helpful advice and nothing is a bother. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the place itself is nice and clean! The food is amazing and they have a wide range of options
This is my first time going to golden taste and it was absolutely brilliant. We had the hotpot, and it was sooo good. So flavourful. The staff are so friendly. Will come here again. Honestly cant fault it one bit!
