Large pub on a very busy corner. Small bar on one side with Taylor's Landlord on hand pump. Luckily Boothroyd tried the other Lounge door where the big bar and room has 4 real ales. Casta had a Little Critters Raspberry blond; very good. Typical pub food menu. Large car park and a paved patio drinking area and grassy seating. There is also a bowling green to the side of the pub. One TV showing sport in the Lounge.

My friend and I managed to get a table for Sunday the day after the King's coronation! I figured it would be fully booked, but it wasn't! Their Sunday Lunch is good!
However, they are planning on tweaking their menu, so I would keep an eye on if it changes for the better or Not?!

Lovely meal and nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and the menu has a nice range of different foods to try. Parking is good outside and they have a nice function room upstairs with seperate toilets to the pub downstairs. We had my nans wake here and even the buffet food was great and the staff were friendly.

Met up with some former teammates of mine for a catch up and to watch a World Cup match, impressed with the set up, decor, choice of beers and really good service and will go there again in the future.
My own prefered beer was the Belgian Blue, a really top class Christmas beer. Turned out we missed much of the game through having a really good natter.
Very expensive for drinks, lovely beer garden however the wooden furniture needs a very thick lick of paint and a tighten up of the screws
