Lovely venue, welcoming friendly staff and quick service, pizza was excellent, the gluten free dough balls and pizza didn't disappoint
Staff were lovely-friendly and attentive but thankfully didn't hover around while we were eating. Food was very nice-we tried the pizza (of course), lasagne and pasta and all the meals were delicious. Didn't have time for dessert but they did look nice. Decent prices, nice food and friendly staff. They have outdoor seating too which would be lovely on a nice sunny day.
Lovely placement of the restaurant. Kids enjoyed sitting on the veranda with the throws to keep the breeze off. Reliable, good service. St Pauls was full, with people waiting so one of the waitresses there directed us to this relatively new addition to the chain which is just a short walk away. It certainly hit the spot for us. The outside area is lovely, overlooking the city and with a cosy throw to put over your legs as the sun goes down and the air begins to chill. It's right next to the new cinema so will definitely visit again.
Although the selection is limited by the standard sized base, it's great to go here and know that I can eat gluten free pizza and join in with everyone else. Could still do better with the GF dough ball quantity (we get fewer than "muggle" and "vegan" options), and choices of coeliac-friendly desserts! However, I like the fact I can rely on Pizza Express and have confidence in their food when I'm out and about in Sheffield or any city.
A really nice pizza express with great service, perfect for a meal after going to the cinema! It's never too busy and I've always got a seat. Also having a student discount is great!
