Visited here recently for a drink while waiting for our fresh pizza to cook. The pub was clean and warm with a log fire burning. The new landlord was polite and friendly. There are different pop up foods on offer throughout the week so something for everyone.

Dropped in to pass some time while house hunting, didn't like the house but loved this pub. Good atmosphere, the food being served looked and smelt great, nice drop of beer too.

The ultimate combo and the home made sunday roast .. been every day since it opened . Absolutely love it .. great food great staff .. great day all round 👌👌👌👌

Now it's reopened, was good to see the pub busy. Sunday roast was well presented and home made Yorkshire puds were great. Good selection of veg and good selection of drinks too. Staff were attentive and very pleasant. Well laid out and good eating area. A big bonus to the village of Woodsetts Certainly will be returning

Genuinely excellent service. There was no toilet roll but I'd already used the toilet to have a poo. I pulled up my trousers and tried to not get poo on my pants whilst I carefully made my way to the bar for help. I told the man who served me that there was currently no toilet roll in the toilet and that I'd just had a poo but still have some poo in my bum which I needed to wipe away. Nearby customers laughed and I felt utterly humiliated, but the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. They put me at ease, telling me not to worry, and got the toilet roll straight away. I wiped my bum and carried on eating my delicious cottage pie.

Lovely local pub in country side location. Great friendly staff and great food. Fun for all. Beer garden kids and dogs welcomed. Regular beer festivals. Real ales and guest beers .
