Consistent with what you'd expect from Wetherspoons. Always been able to get a table here so enough seating to accommodate visitors without having to worry about pre-booking. Ordering from the table available if you prefer to order online. Parking on street only. You can usually get a space somewhere along the road and it's free for three hours.

Me and my friend had a lovely time at this pub, which features glorious additions like the fireplace, lights and wall frames! We were served quickly and found our drinks refreshing, sitting comfortably at the table that had cleanliness maintained like the toilets.

Its so old school, had that smell that lets you know your in a local pub. The clientele are a mixed bag, but are all super friendly. The food is the normal spoonies fare, but the staff are lovely and it was all hot, prompt and naughtilly yummy

Typical old style spoons quite dated and needs refurbishment, tables a bit regimented like a canteen but great variety of drinks all top quality and a reasonable price.

Went in for curry night with friends, curry was very tasty and the beer was good, so would recommend a visit.

Lovely food and service (Debbie was so friendly and helpful). Unfortunately some of the clientele were questionable (particularly the fellow who thought it was entertaining to "pass wind" as loud as possible at every possible opportunity)

I visited today this morning two full English Breakfast and was well impressed with the quality of the food and presentation well done Lavender who I believe is the chef and in my opinion doing an amazing job in the kitchen here. The server today was Debbie and she immediately made me my wife and children feel so comfortable and made us all feel at ease. Was also impressed with the service from both Jake and Hayley who were also very polite and ensured the quick arrival of our food what a great meal all round cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. You'll be pleased to know you have made my weekend thank you all at the Palace woodseats 😀😃

Food and service spot on. Had the small plates loaded chips and chicken wings. Really substantial. Drinks really cheap but excellent quality.
