Great new menu, lovely staff, great value for money. No longer waiting times for food. Definitely recommend.
Visited yesterday 18th may for partners birthday. Excellent food great service very friendly staff. Even went out of their way to chill a bottle of wine as the only bottle they had left was on display. Never had a bad meal yet. Will definitely be going again.
Arrived at 6.30 and the place was very quiet only few customers eating. All the staff smiled and said hello , they Immediately pointed out that the kitchen was closing early and apologised, but were happy to put our order through. Two of us order different types of steak. My sizzling strips were tender and cooked perfectly. The onions and peppers are frozen so not a great deal of flavour in them , adding salt helps. Lovely fresh side salad and I tried the Mexican pasta. This was very mayo covered not overly exciting . However I have had a lot worse and the chefs are following company menus. The other steak was again well cooked and presented accompanied with fries, mushrooms, onion rings peas. A very filling tea. Never had any complaints with the food when we're in the mood for the no frills hearty pub classics.
Waiting time can be a little longer than usual, past few times it's been down to staffing shortage when we asked - but nothing too crazy or off putting.
Decent layout with plenty of nooks and crannies for a semi-private feel when your eating, never tend be be sat on top of others.
Staff always seem friendly enough, again, no frills.
Will likely keep popping back now and again.
I really enjoyed my meal here with my family. The staff were friendly and very welcoming.

Visited the other day, Sunday 16th for food and drinks. I was sat on table 27 and could hear the chefs singing which made my visit even more enjoyable, everyone seemed happy which is unusual these days. The food was hot and tasted amazing (think it was part of a new menu) I was served efficiently and wasn't waiting too long for my food. Great pub and great team. Keep it up 👍
Absolutely amazing food, we had quite a few things between the two of us and it was all beautiful. We were served by Beth, she's so lovely and friendly. Great service, got us everything we needed & more! We would definitely visit again because of Beth!! 5****

Staff are always lovely we call for our tea quite often as it's local and never had an issue.
Excellent service, food very good and hot. Duncan, the manager, made you feel very welcome. Staff friendly and efficient would highly recommend a visit 👍 😊
Always enjoy it here. Good food and decent drinks selection. Very friendly staff. Crispy chicken ranch burger and a couple of Guinness.
Great Customer Service, provided by Elaine. This lady was all for looking out for the customers best interest. Was perfect at taking order's without any problems. Everything came as expected just how, we as a family wanted it. Overall food was nice and we enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Elaine made my day with generosity and being great at her Job. Give that lady a raise she is truly an asset to the company. Well Done.
