Spent two years at Vita and had mixed experiences. Overall, as somewhere to call home, the quality of the accommodation and friendliness of staff, Vita is fantastic. It’s certainly not the most affordable accommodation in Sheffield and I could argue that the cost maybe isn’t justified. This is especially the case since the past year has been filled with water/hot water trouble and construction (from 7:30am every weekday). I’m still giving this a high rating because a lot of that is out of Vitas hands but I’d seriously consider it before having the same experience as I have this past year. This does not reflect on the staff however, they’re all very friendly (so be polite to them in return). If you have the money and ear defenders, go to Vita. If you don’t or would struggle to fund it like I did, go elsewhere.
I returned to my room a month after leaving Vita to find that the staff had done an excellent job cleaning my room and I was very pleased and grateful for that. They provide a fortnightly room cleaning service which is excellent.

i think vita is very good. Staffs are very helpful, always smile and want to help. I think the party much better than last year, very big, lots of food and fun. The winter wonderland was very big, i enjoyed the cocktails. Very tasty.
The cleaners very clean, much work is done - always knock and respect if you are sleeping. They helped me lots when I have not been able to keep my room as clean as I like. They offer other services that I pay for, very low price and help me put clothes away after they wash and iron them for me. I think this is very good.
The reception desk staff and the managers are all very nice, even though they always seem to have a lot of works to complete, they still very happy to help.
I love the breakfast, and they listen to students. We wanted different breakfast, and they gave us more breakfast which is great to take to school.
Yes construction site next door but not noisy at all. I can never hear it. The location is really good I think. I like the great views and big windows.
I'll start by saying it is expensive but it is worth it. Free coffee, free gym, free events with food/drink and 24/7 staff whom are extremely friendly and always willing to help and talk. The rooms themselves are very professional as well, this is by far the nicest place I have lived in Sheffield. The staff was excellent and extremely supportive throughout the COVID lock down. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay extremely comfortable.
Amazing hospitality during the Euros final last night! The facilities were great, clean and big enough to accommodate a number of groups. Not to mention the amazing service by Mitchell, who made us feel very welcomed and made sure we were all having a good time.
I cannot recommend this place enough. The one and only con I have is that it is expensive, but you have SO many pros, free coffee machine, gym, cinema room, communal areas, cleaning & that's naming a few. Not only is the actual accommodation beautiful, the staff are so warm and friendly, always there to talk to you. Through lock down the staff went above and beyond and genuinely cared about our well-being, such a lovely team and I can't thank you all enough for my amazing stay :)
The reception staff are the most kind and attentive people ever. Also the hosted events throughout the week are such a highlight and include anything from cooking, skincare, language lessons, and more! I highly recommend the studios and the location is hard to beat - near city centre and both universities.

I’ve been living in Vita Student Sheffield for 3 years. They have had their ups and downs but I must say that this year, Vita has the right recipe. They may have removed a lot of the services and increased the price. However, they have hired an amazing combination of people to run the building. Today I was absolutely amazed by the staff. I went outside to throw away my rubbish and 2 people tried to follow me into the building. Before I knew it, Lydia, the manager had run downstairs to protect the safety of the students living here and tell the two guys to go away. Safety is a huge priority in my opinion and it’s not the first time the staff here offer it. Jarek and Collin are very diligent in the night shifts, making sure that people that shouldn’t be in the building are not. In general, I think the underlying problems with Vita are due to head office. The staff we have at Vita Student Sheffield is friendly, protective and hard working. Would recommend staying here if you want a family away from your family.
Reception was amazing, Mitchell was with us the night of the Euro Finals and he was amazing, very supportive and ensured that we were able to enjoy the match. This accommodation also has amazing facilities, with one of the best student experiences in Sheffield.

Great to work with 2 people who are dedicated to ensuring that the Vita Student accommodation in Sheffield is safe for both employees, visitors & residents. Reactive maintenance is dealt with quickly and professionally. It's clear they care about the services they provide and they have a passion to do it right. Fantastic student accommodation in Sheffield I would highly recommend Vita Student Sheffield.
