Really inviting space, Symrun has always been super friendly and welcoming. The menu has a great selection of food - the kimchi is amazing - and they have an excellent curated selection of books.
One of our favourite places to go in Sheffield!

Really cool place! Delicious korean food - the fried chicken is honestly the best vegan fried chicken I've ever eaten. The staff are always so friendly, and the broad selection of lefty books makes this a place I've visited again and again.
I reccomend attending one of their many events as a fun way of meeting like-minded and friendly people in a relaxed atmosphere. The pub quiz is especially fun!

Really delicious food, and the staff are very accommodating with allergies. I had the katsu special breakfast and it could've fed 2 people to be honest!

We love it here. It's quite niche in that it's a socialist bookshop/vegan cafe, but the food is excellent and the staff are very polite, friendly and respectful.

Really tasty vegan tofu fried 'chicken' with yummy kimchi. It was not that expensive too. They also have a book shop that has lots of choice.
They also sell cute soda that has a pokemon theme! I also tried the matcha cake which was yummy. Would very much recommend going here.

The Korean fried 'chicken' is out of this world! Great vegan place with a chilled out atmosphere and interesting radical books for sale too.

really glad this shop exists! the owners are super friendly and knowledgeable and helped me pick out a book. if you have even a vague interest in political non-fiction books, definitely pop in, have a look around, and support this shop which is much needed in sheffield!
