It's better than the Stonehouse near us. The meat melted in your mouth, the gravy was full of flavour, and the cauliflower cheese was actually cheesy. Staff were very friendly. Would recommend the carvery š

An unexpected for lunch. Access for wheelchairs is awkward. I had to get out and walk through the door then get back in my chair after. Staff were really pleasant and chatty. Food was excellent.
A very nice warm welcome, no instructions given as to what happens at the breakfast carvery, had to find someone to ask. Food not particularly hot and didn't offer all that was on the menu, no adult size plates available. Quite possibly they might have been exceptionally busy and just run out , but no one to ask. , excellent value for money and would return now we know what to do!!

What gets me though. Is I suffer with anxiety and the queue for carvery was coming past our table. Table 9..
I don't like to feel claustrophobic, eating while people are stood right at my chair and table and coughing, puts me off my food.
Should have them que maybe 8 at a time. Or find an alternative path to queue

Had a 50% off voucher so thought id give it another try, ordered a large carvery, food this time was a lot better, didn't try the turkey or pigs, so I can't comment but everything else was much better.
Came in with my partner for a carvery, nice and polite staff, paid extra for all trimmings.
The beef gravy, potato and leek mash, Yorkshires and stuffing were very nice, the beef was the best of the meats, the gammon was also nice but a little dry, the turkey was very dry and unable to swallow without the gravy, the pigs in blankets were burnt which was annoying as I'd paid extra for these, roasties were old and dry, I was told more was coming out but had about 15 mins to wait for these, I ended up having a few old ones and after finishing my dinner I went back up for fresh ones which still took another few minutes of waiting to come out, didn't try the peas because they were dry and shrivelled up. I think less but more frequently food should be put out.
Came in for Sunday lunch yesterday and it was very tasty and the meat was lovely. the kids loved the nuggets and our waitress Louise was fantastic and couldnāt do enough for us from moving us to different table at our request to helping us on the app and bringing us food.

It was good, I had there dirty burger and when t large (Ā£2 extra) so had 3 burgers pulled pork in barbecue sauce +hash brown and salad, decant portion of chips, they where a bit to dry that's why 4 stars
Friendly atmosphere & staff. Especially Louise, who served us today with impeccable customer service, she is a credit to this company. Perfectly cooked Carvery. The was a good selection of vegetables, all of which were well cooked and delicious. A good place families, couples or groups of friends. They also have plenty of outside seating and a large beer garden to the rear & ample parking. Highly recommended.
