A well know store of quality goods. Some great Christmas ideas and loads of opportunities for present buying when you need something extra special for an important person in your life. Just bought a pack of new lights for our tree to replace some old style lights that were really cumbersome in comparison.

Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. They honoured my price match on a high end item and have some interesting products under their own branding. I'm not sure the quality always reflects tge price of some of their furniture but they have other furniture of very good quality so I'd suggest going to see it beforehand. The staff in the cafe were very warm and welcoming.

A well established shop that has been going years. Selling top quality items from clothing, electrical equipment, fabrics and various other products. A conveyor stairs to each level with a great restaurant serving freshly served food, hot and cold with a great selection of cakes, scones and snacks. Plenty of helpful staff to attend to your needs, well presented and well worth a visit. Loads of choices and well equipped variations of stock. Well worth a visit.

Lovely shop with some great staff overall, plenty of products for sale and great to have a walk around to get inspired. They also have a restaurant / cafe, a little pricey I would say however a nice place. The staff at customer services are also really helpful and do what they can to help.

They offer value for money quality goods and if you can find the same item elsewhere at a lower price, John Lewis will match it. Their motto is Never knowingly undersold. The customer service is second to none. I recently had to return an item which, after repair by the manufacturer was faulty, I was immediately offered a replacement, no quibble whatsoever and the staff make their customers feel special. Top marks!

It is always pleasurable to shop in John Lewis. Starting with convenient blue badge parking. Great service in all departments and a pleasant cafe with delicious hot soup. The only problem is the escalators which seem to be permanently being repaired. Presumably due to age. However there are lifts. All in all a pleasant experience

Great, friendly service from the man who served us when buying an expensive item. Asked some questions to a female colleague just before though and got a bit of a frosty reception- hence four stars. Always been happy with purchases from there!

John Lewis has one of the best range of fabrics and haberdashery in Sheffield and the lady who served me was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the properties of fabrics and what blend suits my needs best and she has ordered various samples to be posted to me. I haven't had a quote for actually making the curtains but the service, experience and the fabric range available are all excellent. I do feel the need to add that one escalator has been out of order for an unacceptable length of time - repair or replace it.

We use Lewis's regularly as it is a well stocked shop that has friendly staff to help you with your needs. Got a great deal with a set of new saucepans. Willing to pay a bit more than internet for the Lewis's service. Brilliant.

Truly excellent products, better than those available in most shop, but a little on the expensive side.

I was in a huge rush to buy a last minute gift so asked if they could gift wrap. Fully expecting and quite happy to pay for the service. Gift was beautifully packed and displayed in a lovely gloss red box. Tied with ribbon and a gift tag ready to write. No charge. One of the many reasons I regularly use John Lewis
