The Horse & Jockey - Sheffield - Photo album

Supper club time! Tonight we took ourselves off to the Horse and Jockey as we had heard great things about their Supper Club. November's edition was focused around a craft beer pairing theme which we couldn't resist and we weren't disappointed! Every course was ridiculously good, and expertly cook
Lovely, proper pub. Nice seating out front, as well as a big seating area and garden at the back. Relatively limited menu, but tasty food and nice beer
Lovely pub very friendly. Large selection of drinks and great verity of food to. Alway have great service when visit. Cya soon.
Nice atmosphere. Very nice Sunday roast. Loads of outdoor seating. Good selection of beers and spirits... even some good bourbon, a rarity these days. Very glad I've got this pub nearby.
Great pub that always has a selection of Beavertown beers on. Every Thursday you can also enjoy a Netheredge pizza with your pint.
Really nice pub. Good range on the menu and the daily special offers are good. Tuesday was burger and a pint for £12. Chicken burger was huge and big portion of fries... Couldn't grumble for £12!
A good traditional pub inside and few tables at the outside sitting area. The pub is serving proper food now and a number of beers and real ales available. 2 cocktails for £10 every day deal is not bad.
First visit and very pleasant it was too. Lovely pie packed with meat, served with fantastic chunky chips, mushy peas and gravy. Very good choice of drinks, including some decent pale ales. The service was a little slow, hence the four stars. More than prepared to visit again and bump it up a notch.
Went for Christmas dinner today. Staff were very busy but really lovely. Food was excellent. Very happy we trusted an important meal to the Horse and Jockey. Only very recently moved to the area but will definitely be back.
Really nice pub recently been done up. Would recommend it of your in the area. Good choices of beers + larger and also of spirits etc. We also had food on our visit and the hanging kebabs are really nice and would recommend if you like kebabs.
Under new management, had a great burger and guest ale.
There is a classic pub atmosphere which is perfect for a Sunday and the waiting staff were very friendly. I had the veggie haggis roast, the dinner was delic and it's nice to get something new as a meat-free option!
Popped in for an afternoon drink for the first time. Very warm welcome as we walked in. Ended up having the best Gourmet burger and chicken burger for a very along time. Highly recommended.
Visited with my mum on a Sunday afternoon for some lunch. We were greeted by lovely staff who were very friendly and attentive. There is a great atmosphere in the pub and there is a good selection on the menu. Mum and I both had a pie each, both of which were good and came with nice wedges and peas.
Nine of us called at the H&J last Saturday for our grandsons 12th birthday celebrations. We were initially struggling for room but that was soon sorted by an extra table brought in and added to ours. The staff work well together as a team and are very attentive to customers needs, a credit to this e
We had mushroom on toast, steak frites, ham hock and pork belly they were all lovely and hot, the starter was £5, the mains were £13, £14, £12, which I thought was a good price for what you got. The staff were nice and friendly and the place was clean I would highly recommend coming here
Fantastic, locally brewed beer at great prices. Nice to have a pub that is just a traditional pub and doesn't serve food. They're happy for you to eat your own takeaways in the pub, as long as it's not a night when there is a stall outside. Is nicely busy all week, so always a decent atmosphere.
