Finally tried this restaurant (it's actually our nearest but we have always just driven past) for a family member's birthday. 7 of us had a selection of main dishes. Everyone was really happy with their food. Tasty, moist and tender. Will definitely visit again.

The Bourques Abroad

🔟/🔟 recommend. Small plates - Dolmeh, Padron Peppers, Smoked Sausage. Mains Grill - Bandai Chick, Ghafghazi, Vegetarians. Desserts - Sholrzard Everything was delicious. Perfection on a plate. The smokiness of the charcoal grill, the unique lime and saffron marinade, the sweet and sour flavors from the berries on the rice. Top that all off with great service and hospitality… How could you go wrong? We would definitely recommend you try The Antler out. We’re so excited to be in Hillsborough and get to try so many great new locations. Make sure you hit up their website and book a reservation before hand!

This place really does favours for the Middlewood side. I struggle to get out due to mental health and usually can't go into other places because of that but my partner decided to try and take me here on my birthday after explaining to them that I can't do busy places. They were so understanding of this and made sure we were sat in a quiet part of the restaurant on our own with nobody sat near us so that I could enjoy my meal without having a panic attack. The food was on some next level taste, the meat just melts in your mouth. I have absolutely no fault with anything we ate, even with the decision to try Ayran which has a very acquired taste. The bastani was amazing and the baklava was perfect. They really do look after you here and we will 100% be back again when it's quiet. This is now our go to place for a 5 star meal 😍
