Lovely Thai restaurant beautifully decorated with street art like grafiti all over, even in the toilet. The staff were friendly and helpful providing us with more water and food recommendations. And the food! Simply delicious. We had the spicy papaya salad with chicken and the stir fried rice with pork belly. Both were indeed spicy but in a very tasty way that if you like spicy food, you will definitely appreciate. There are also non spicy options if you are soft. Finally, prices were reasonable, around 10-15£ for each dish. Would definitely recommend!
The restuarant looks really nice, representing the streets of Thailand. The food is also great. We shares the dishes - pork belly with morning glory, sharing platter and coconut ice cream. Only disappointing thing was the platter doesnt look like it serves 2 as we were still quite hungry after that... The staff were very nice and the service was very quick. We paid £34.47. Would come here again if I come back to Sheffield.
This is my absolute favourite place to eat in Sheffield. Anytime any friends visit us we take them here. The food is absolutely incredible, as are the drinks. The staff are always smiling and so happy. Such a great buzz about the place. This is as authentic as it gets!
The staff are super nice and friendly, especially the woman who greeted us first when I visited on Wednesday. I was excited to try as I love Thai food. I got the Gang Panaeng curry, it has a really specific taste that I’ve not come across before but it was soooo tasty. Initially I thought the portion size was small, but it was definitely enough. Got some prawn crackers too, the portion size was more than generous and the sauce was really tasty too. Tried their bubble teas as well, got watermelon juice with lychee popping bubbles and fair to say it’s one of the best I’ve had. Really nice decoration inside as well.
Four of us got a table easily on a Friday lunchtime. The menu is huge and some people might find it overwhelming but the staff are really friendly and explain anything you need. The food was delicious, full of flavour and generous portions. The decor is 😎 designed to make you feel you are on a Thai street. An absolute must if you like Thai food. They also do fab bubble tea.
It's a proper Thai street food restaurant, exactly taste food like you are in Thailand. Amazing. And prices not a big, very highly recommended. Also service is amazing too. Simply, we must love this restaurant;-)
It's been here many times and what I can say...... always is amazing service, absolutely great taste of food, best Thai restaurant in UK!!!
Just want say again, this is great and best Thai restaurant in UK.
Fresh, tasty food. Staff are warm and friendly and service is quick. Will definitely come again.
Pad thai was delicious! Thank you. We sat outside, we had a small dog with us. He's been offered water by the waiter. Very pleased with our visit.
Loved this place A LOT!!! Lots of delicious dishes to choose from. Nice noisy atmosphere, just like a street food place should be. It instantly transports you to Thailand street markets. Service was second to none.
One of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Make sure to save room for dessert.
Best thai experience in Sheffield for sure! Need to visit this place!❤️ you ll love it!
The crab salad was very good, it tasted very fresh, I was genuinely impressed. The green curry I ordered was tasty too, the only nitpick I have is that the portion is a little small. But, still a good order. I also had the Thai milk tea and it was alright.
Slightly pricey, but the ambience of the place and quality of the food makes up for it. Nice place to hang out with friends and worth dining in.
Zap Thai is currently our go-to place for dinner in Sheffield. We love absolutely everything about it. It feels like you are in a street market smack dab in Bangkok (or at least what I think it would be like- it’s on the list of travel destinations!).
The food is authentic and mouth-wateringly delicious. It is hands down the best Thai food that I’ve ever had the delight of eating.
The music is loud, and the decor makes it seem like a magical place. The chilli they use tickles the back of your throat and there are tuk-tuks throughout the restaurant that you can sit and dine in adding to the vibe.
Zaap always has a packed house, yet there is still room for you when you arrive. It’s quite impressive actually (they don’t take reservations).
Allergies are asked when you arrive and they have a whole booklet breaking down each menu item and its allergens. From dim sum to curry, bar buns to noodle dishes, tarm sung to creamy coconut soup they have it all. Over 80 different options for food on their menu.
My suggestion for your next visit; Start off with the Sa La Pao Moo Daeng (Steamed bun filled with roasted red pork), and an order of Edamame for the table to share. Then for your meal the classic; Pad Thai Bo Ran.
Trevor’s suggestion; Gai Tod Prik Gang for your main (Deep-fried crispy chicken with a spicy red curry sauce) and finish off with dessert; Pancake (Custard filled green pandan pancake served with vanilla ice cream).
They also have an array of cocktails and bubble teas, don’t pass those by! Give the Thaistar Martini a try- my personal fave.
All in all, love everything about it. Try Zaap, you’ll be disappointed if you don’t.
The restaurant is amazing, really quick service and friendly staffs. Food is amazing and super delicious!! You can get Authentic Thai taste and loads of varieties of dishes.
We enjoyed our dinner there!
It’s the best Thai restaurant that I’ve ever tried. The food, the ambience, the service… is immaculate. I’ve been here couple of times and it never disappoints me. Every time I visit this place, it feels like I’ve in the busy street of Bangkok. It’s a true Thai experience.
It seems that the entire world is falling for Thai fare. Currently, Thai cooking is one of the most popular as it is unique in taste, healthy and has been influenced by cuisines of Asian cultures like China. The flavour of Thai food is very distinct and can be instantly recognized.
Services were great when we were there even it was crowded, we don't feel left out or anything. Flavours was alright to compared to Asian foods in the UK, they still try to keep the Thai tastes in it, but it's not very authentic like how the foods supposed to taste like like back in Thailand. A bit pricey but I would recommend to go there anyway, to be fair it's hard to find a good Thai restaurant in Sheffield.
Really buzzy, vibrant and colourful restaurant which is reflected in the tasty Thai food and drinks. Service very polite and swift. Could eat here every day.
First visit. Interesting decor and theme. Never been to Thailand but I’m guessing it gives you a feel of being there.
It wasn’t too busy but we were served promptly and our food came very quickly.
Food was delicious. Only gripe was the metal enamelled plate which kept rotating while I was eating!
Definitely come again.
