Had yet another delicious meal from Wild Rice and meals arrived hot! So many places deliver cold food. Highly recommend. And the prices are very good.

The best Chinese takeaway in the whole of Sheffield. Used to order from here at least once a week when I lived in Sheffield but now I’ve moved away it is the only thing I miss. Definitely recommend over other Chinese takeaways in the area, this is always so flavourful and good portion sizes.

*********** ATTENTION ALL SHEFFIELD STUDENTS/RESIDENTS **************** This is game, set and match. There's no Chinese spot in the whole city that can do what wild rice do. From affordable prices to quick delivery times even at peak times, there's no real place to fault. I've ordered from Wild Rice many times, and my personal favourites on the menu are the mixed vegetable curry, aubergine in black bean sauce, and the mock chicken in black bean sauce. I haven't tried any of the meat options, but my flatmates have and they all agree it's great value for money and very tasty. The vegetable spring rolls and dumplings also can never go wrong. Not to mention the great vegetarian and vegan options. There's a wide range of options like tofu, mock chicken, mock duck and vegetables to ensure that no one gets left out because of their diet. Don't get me wrong here folks. I'm not trying to say this is the tastiest, or the most incredible Chinese food you'll ever eat. But what I am saying is, if there's a bad dish on their menu, I haven't tried it yet. You don't have to worry about if one option isn't gonna be nice or if you shouldn't get a certain dish because maybe no one orders it and it's just sitting in a freezer somewhere; it's all up to a very high standard, not to mention the great value for money, with most individual dishes not being over £5. Delivery times have ranged from 30-45 minutes, normally on a Friday night. Compared to some pizza places I won't name, you're getting blessed with times like Wild Rice's times. If you're like me and you've been wanting to get Chinese takeaway but other spots in Sheffield just aren't doing it for you, this is it. Call Wild Rice and get sorted out.

We've been ordering from here for years. The food is always really tasty and the service is fantastic. There are so many options for vegans (they include all allergens on their menu so you can check what's suitable). Our favourites are anything salt and pepper, especially the chips and aubergine, and the tom yum goong soup - yum!

Ordered from here for the first time after hearing good things; definitely was not disappointed! The food came very quickly, (we are S13, and food arrived in 25 mins from ordering, not bad on a Saturday!) was very well priced, and tasted amazing. There are loads of veggie and vegan options, and we went for the salt and pepper veg starter for 2, mock duck, Tofu tod and sweet and sour mock chicken. This was between 3 people and there was loads! We couldn't finish it all. We also got a big bag of spring rolls free. The food was well cooked and not overly oily like some takeaways can be. I not recommend enough of you are looking for a Chinese in Sheffield.

Tried this place a few times now. Good price, nice food, good delivery time. I wish you could order online as I don't always have cash but I guess they just like to keep it old school. They got an item wrong once and sorted it quickly with re-delivery. I will keep using it as my favourite Chinese ever (Noodle Love) closed down last year. Thumbs up so far.

In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the *new*. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends. Last night, I experienced something new: an extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for Chef Gusteau's famous motto, "Anyone can cook." But I realize, only now do I truly understand what he meant. Not everyone can become a great artist; but a great artist *can* come from *anywhere*. It is difficult to imagine more humble origins than those of the genius now cooking at Wild Rice, who is, in this critic's opinion, nothing less than the finest chef in Sheffield. I will be returning to Wild Rice soon, hungry for more.

Been using wild rice for about 5 years now and every meal has been consistently good. Excellent vegetarian options. Always come before the time scale given for delivery.
