Came here for a bite to eat. First time. Garden is lovely, very big and loads of games for the kids. Free pool on a Monday. I had Cajun chicken pasta which was lovely, great value for money. The other meal was a double gourmet burger which was huge! Meals were £12.99 and £13.99. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Have just been for a Family lunch and drink as its 5 minutes from my house as really impressed.The pub is nice and clean with polite friendly staff .There food menu is very decent and fairly priced,with them having a very large outdoor seating area its ideal to be outside having a drink with a meal .Love the play area ideal for the grandkids to run around with plenty of space.

Dropped in for lunch while passing.
Well worth it. Pleasent and cheerful staff.
Very nice food at a reasonable price.
Had jacket potato with chili con carnie. At last a chille with some heat and not the bland minced beef and kidney beans you get at many places.

Lovely village , great pub next door to Baxters butchers , use pub car park buy your meat , a couple of nice pints from friendly staff . Whats not to like , proper village life at its best .

Love this friendly clean and tidy pub. Excellent food, good prices especially on offer days. Large family garden with a play area for younger people. Pool table under a shelter. Give it a try. I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Been here a few times and it’s a great cheap and cheerful local. The food is good for what you pay and the portions are very generous. Staff are friendly and attentive and service has always been quick. The garden is massive. Really good for families.

Second visit with 12 people this time it was 18 last time all dinners came out on time amazing!!!
No complaints and all staff put up with our kids that's saying something

Outstanding place, had a warm welcome from bar staff, bar staff and chef accommodated a group of 15 of us and teenagers. Food was ordered by all and came out promptly with no complaints. Food was great, good portions with plenty of variety on the menu to suit all. Fantastic atmosphere, Tv's on walls for sports and music. Beer garden to rear of pub with play equipment and space for larger kids to run around too. Animal friendly pub. A pub for both young, old and families. Will definitely visit again. 👍

Lovely food, great portions, lovely welcome, great service. We arrived about 12.30 and the only problem was it was quite cold in the pub. If not for that (had we arrived later it would have been fine) I'd definitely give five stars. We'll definitely return.

A much revived local country pub with a great atmosphere, great food and a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Great for lunch and evening meals. Family and dog friendly with a big back garden and dedicated kids play area, what more could you want. :)

Lovely atmosphere, great proprietor, moderately priced. Most of the food was fantastic. They need more still soft drinks. Garlic bread left much to be desired, but best macaroni and cheese this American has tasted in England over 19 years of residency!!!
