The food and service is the best... can't believe how much they have on their menu, let alone the specials, vegetarian options etc on the boards. You get plenty and its always cooked to perfection. They do a great Pino Grigio Blush too... totally recommend the place.!!

Great food! The Caesar salad is amazing! And the ice cream parlour is amazing. I had 1 scoop of rum and raisin and 1 scoop of lemon sorbet and wish the pots were bottomless they were that good! The staff are lovely and friendly and it’s a warm welcoming atmosphere in the pub. Highly recommend
Nice friendly pub, with a beer garden and food. The food is served in good hearty portions. The fish and chips (Friday) is highly reccomended!

We had a meal here on a Monday evening with 2 adults 2 chidren , lovely service and great food , great choice for adults and kids. Nice outdoor space and great parking.

The Green Man at Shepreth, near Royston, was recommended to me by a friend many moons ago. I am so glad I heeded his advice and dropped by. Not withstanding the hiatus during the Covid pandemic, my wife and I have now been fairly regular visitors to this very friendly and well-run establishment for the past fourteen years or so. And to use an appropriate metaphor, the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
The cuisine is excellent in every respect - plenty of choice, competitively priced, served hot, and exactly as it should be. The establishment is also conveniently situated just off the main A10 trunk road so it's easy to get to with ample parking. And these factors have made it attractive to our extended family who accompany us on special occasions such as birthdays and wedding anniversaries (42 years and counting, and of course my wife and I chose to celebrate our last anniversary at The Green Man). That is significant because for important events, it is best to stick with a proven venue, than to risk going elsewhere to a place with an unknown reputation, and court disaster on what should be an enjoyable celebration. No such worries with The Green Man.
The staff too have always been most courteous and eager to help, looking after our every need. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and that is why The Green Man at Shepreth is so popular and rightly deserves five stars.

We came for lunch on a Monday. Incredibly good value and an extensive menu. Friendly and quick service.
Been here many times, lovely pub, great food and choice, friendly staff, will definitely keep going back.
2nd visit this summer. A friendly and young Mr & Mrs run the place, has a small bar and massive sit down area indoors and out as well a traditional garden paddock for the kids to play, and has an ice cream bar too! Food is excellent plentiful and at a reasonable price, lots of choice, I had ham egg and chips..again! I come down here from Yorkshire the night before just to visit Duxford IWM just 20 mins away.
