Had dinner here tonight - it was absolutely first rate. Scallops with black pudding for starters were juicy and sweet. Beef Wellington was cooked to perfection. My husband loved his prawn starter and rack of ribs main too. Generous portions, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Would highly recomme

Great food, great decor, lovely people and really considerate towards us with our 16 month old little girl. They gave us a table toy without us having to ask for our daughter to play with and were really helpful with guiding us to the perfect table with lots of space! :-) Will definitely return x

A gem of a pub in the heart of Somerset. Friendly staff ... nothing is too much trouble. Food can only be described as heaven on a plate 😍 we have also been to their live music events that are entertaining and lots of fun.

Lovely food. Good cider and nice atmosphere. Maybe keep one bar free of bar stools would make initial entrance feel more welcoming?

Any pub that has a resident cat in the bar and a GSD called Cabbage deserves a mention. Iin addition a lovely, homely and friendly atmosphere. For cider lovers both Rich's dry and medium on draught. Good beers as well. The lunch we had was excellent, a perfect ham hock terrine with pickled vegetable

Couldn't have been nicer. Wonderful welcome to 3 of us plus 3 dogs. Food delicious and very well presented. Prices reasonable and friendly locals.. what not to like?
