Cannards Well - Shepton Mallet - Photo album

We only went there for Sunday lunch and omg it was excellent. We would recommend the place and we will definitely go again
I stayed for two nights last weekend at Cannards Well whilst doing an Antiques Fair at the Bath and West Showground. I found the hotel excellent value for money. There was a warm welcome from the moment I arrived. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I wa
Myself and my partner stayed in a double bed suite. Very nice size, i have seen smaller 1 bedroom flats. The host was great (despite being a Millwall fan). He even gave us a lift down to The Royal Bath and West Show Ground, for which this place is ideally located for. Also this place is really close
I have been to this pub many times in my life and normally the standards are okay, but on this occasion i had great customer service but the standards of food and drink where not great at all! The meat was tough but was tasty, however there was no Yorkshire puddings left, the cauliflower cheese was

The welcome was great and payment swift. There's a good sized car park. Room is small but well equipped with tea, coffee and biscuits. The shower was clean and came with toiletries. I stay here quite a few weekends. The location is perfect for visiting the local attractions, beautiful countryside and scenery. I stay in a single room which has tv, hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities and free WiFi. It is always clean and tidy. The shower is lovely and hot with good pressu
Hotel is well run. Friendly and experienced staff. Always go out of their way to provide whatever is needed. As far as goin to the shops to get mint tea. Rooms are well clean and homely with sofas and fireplace. Highly recommended and good value for money.
Friendly staff, good beer and great food. Room was basic and i think they are having some DIY done to improve the place. Good price for the single room too. Will be calling them to book another room end of July 😊
If you're looking for a luxurious night away this isn't it, however if you're looking for a cheap night with excellent people running the place, then this is the place. The reason I give 5 stars is purely because of the price, the people and the parking. The breakfast filled a big hole too setting m
Food was excellent. We had an evening meal and breakfast both of which were superbly cooked. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable but the room and bathroom we had were very tired and in need of updating.
Great rooms reasonably price. I liked how we were shown to our rooms by the lady on reception. Only thing issue I had was it was very unclear how to or what I could order for breakfast, although after finding out how to order the food was amazing and I'll certainly be returning.
When I arrived at the Cannards well I received a warm friendly greeting from the staff and owner. So much so I engaged in a 20 minutes conversation with the owner who I found to be a witty and interesting man. I was shown to my by a member of staff, who again could not do enough to help and again i
Great little pub/hotel to visit the South West. Reasonable rates, good filling food and excellent range of local ciders. Parking is right next to entrance and nice outdoor space. Will arrange group dinner for bigger bookings and provide a lot of food!
