Here on holiday.
Walked in and asked for a table for 3, and they were most welcoming and sorted us out straight away.
The staff were really friendly and unreservedly helpful. The food was very enjoyable. The local guest Ale (Norfolk Pride) was very refreshing.
We will be back.
Thank you

We were met at the door by a very friendly and welcoming guy who, despite the fact we'd not made a booking, was determined to find us a table. This he did and we ordered our meal. It was very well cooked and presented - tasty too.

Had an impromptu family meal here while visiting Sheringham mid august. The staff were so friendly and helpful, particularly with my mum and her mobility issues. Had a great meal in the lovely patio area in the back. The food was great, with a high standard.Would highly recommend.

We had lunch and the service, food and general atmosphere was very good, thoroughly enjoyed it.
There was one huge annoyance that being our table next to the door to the toilets. With almost every person in and out the door slammed. The staff made a token effort to remedy this but that lasted five minutes. Little interest shown in resolving this annoyance after that.
If you want to eat here, it is recommended but simply refuse to sit at Table 5 or anywhere near as it will ruin your experience and from our time there, the staff have limited interest in your complaint. AVOID TABLE 5

Well what a surprise Sheringham was; a compact, busy seaside town buzzing with lots of people.
At the seafront end of High Street sat the welcoming 'The Two Lifeboats' pub/restaurant with its large but cosy indoor seating and glass walled outside Seaview patio area... both suitable for dining or just a drink.
We were promptly seated with menus and drinks order taken, soon after that our food order was taken.
After an appropriate wait for freshly cooked hot meals our choices were delivered (and a very welcome sight they were too).
Three empty plates later we all agreed the food was well portioned and of great quality... even my partners fruit cider had real fruit added to the drink!
We were too full for dessert so went straight to coffee, another well presented and nice tasting offering from this highly recommended seaside venue.
We don't get to North Norfolk very often but 'The Two Lifeboats' is defo quite a draw to entice us back.
Thanks to all at this deservedly busy Sheringham hostelry.

A stones throw from the shore front, this place is a lovely find. Very dog friendly and really lovely decor inside. The staff were super friendly and helpful with my daughters gluten free options. She had the Chicken Tikka minis the nann and thoroughly enjoyed it. The other meals were delicious too with a fantastic lasagna and steak and ale pie (not GF).

Great, welcoming and friendly staff. A nice place to go out for a meal. Great, delicious, fresh and well presented food. Wheelchair accessible. Great view, right next to the sea.

We pre ordered the lobster, wow what a treat well worth the wait. Ran out of the dessert I'd ordered but quickly knocked up a heated waffle with ice cream, double cream and chantilly cream drizzled with chocolate sauce with a wafer.....so glad they didnt have what I ordered as this was delicious. Excellent table service from the young staff, very attentive. We will return.

The staff are friendly and seem passionate about the job. Good value for the price. Didn't wait long for the food to come.

It's a nice pub right on the beach. The young blonde girl that brought our drinks to the table is a stunner, she's worth visiting the pub for, didn't get her name but she's without doubt the most attractive woman in Sheringham.

Had lunch here with partner and child. Stood at door and was shown to table within a 2 minutes. Courteous young man explained it was table service, the place was very busy at midday on a Friday. My partner commented on the prices, £17.95 for scampi and chips, £15.95 for quiche and salad, daughter had kiddies spaghetti bolognese at £7.50. I was prepared to pay this as it would the main meal of our day and the location probably meant the hike in price. All in all enjoyed it, daughter liked Spaghetti Bolognese and it smelt nice, partner enjoyed quiche and I enjoyed scampi and chips, with drinks which included a pint of Amstel, pint of coke, white wine spritzer and fruit shoot. The bill was £60. As this was our main meal of the day and the food was good, my eyes did not water too much at this price. Pricey but did enjoy.

Having a day off , visited sheringham for the 1st time . Looked for somewhere to have lunch , came across this place , states home cooked food , looked Inviting , so in we went . Greeted by a polite young lad , who showed us to a table outside . We ordered drinks whilst reading menu , drinks came quickly , we ordered food , it came in good time . All staff were lovely , helpful and looked , happy . The place looked like it was running very professionally.
Food was lovely, and we will definitely travel from caister in future to eat here .

7 of us had meals here and nobody was happy. The chips, the scampi and the garlic bread were straight out of the packet, the batter on the fish was like brandy snap. For the prices we something more than a second rate Wetherspoons.

No matter where we walked in Sheringham we always ended up at the Two Lifeboats, a lovely friendly pub, good food, Prompt service, even letting us have a taste of the beers when we couldn't decide and the view is too die for,I have seen the Northen lights there, but it was after a drink or two!

Had several meals here last week (liver was esp lovely) friendly staff and a great view if can grab an outside table. Shame don't do beer mats anymore as ment tables were sticky but staff when asked were happy to wipe down.

Lovely pub, very friendly. Food very good! Nothing too much trouble. Went in with my very elderly dog and when asking for a bowl of fresh water the young waitress was very obliging!
