I had my dog with me and she was welcomed inside. I loved the look of the menu and had been fancying a bacon sandwich all day. I asked, it was about 3pm and was not a problem. When it arrived, there was plenty of bacon on fresh white bread. It wasn't salty, but very tasty, washed down with a great cup of Americano , all for just over £6. Great friendly staff. Will visit again

Friendly well run cafe where we had excellent tea, lemon drizzle cake and flapjack. Excellent.

We tried lots of places and I'd rate this the best cooked breakfast in sheringham - you can tell they use great quality ingredients. Update - this place now has strong coffee and the breakfast is even better than before. Great, value, service and food.
2022 Edit: Came here again this year. Staff couldn't give a stuff. Lunch menu only even though we were surrounded by people eating breakfast. Left without being able to get a breakfast (it was on the late side, 11.30). Bit sad to see this decline. Front of house need to work on being cheerful and courteous, as this was what this cafe did really well before. We'll try again next year and hopefully things will be better.

Great little cafe with fab food. The speciality toasties are amazing. I had the New Yorker and Club Continental toasties. On our last day I had the Manhattan Eggs Benedict. Would probably have gone back more but it was getting embarrassing lol... Dear Owner, please put the speciality toasties menu out more with your main menu it keeps getting missed. You owe to yourself to show how great your food is.

Given that they call themselves a 'tea shop' is a complete mis-description. Their food and service is outstanding.
I noted that they do 'reserved tables' and whilst I didn't try it (I will next time) the 'eggs' section of the menu was to-die for.
It's places like this that make families like us want to come back to Sheringham.
Thank you.
Oh, and if it looks full inside, just ask, there are tables upstairs l believe.

Good food at a very good price. Nice atmosphere and we were able to sit upstairs for a while. Staff were really friendly and happy to accommodate vegetarianising their sausage sandwich. Great vegetarian options.

First time visit to Sheringham and an absolute delight, Starfish toasties were amazing, best I've ever had. Lots of cheese and onion and a lovely side salad. Fantastic, thank you xxx

Service was very quick and our drinks and food were lovely and very good value for money. The only thing that lets this lovely tea room down was dogs are allowed in. While we were eating a stinking wet dog sat near us and started shaking its wet fur.

Lovely tea room with a nice garden at the rear and very welcoming staff. Food was lovely, having a local caught crab sandwich and the pork sandwich with apple sauce, nom nom nom. Dogs were welcomed as well with a fresh bowl of water.

We stopped here two days in a row on a rainy weekend in October. I really couldn't fault the place. My kids had well made toasties, I had home made soup and a roll and my husband had a fancy ciabatta. Second time we switched things up with moules marinieres and a jacket potatoes with crab. Everything was delicious. My kids sampled the beautiful scones and toasted tea cakes too which were excellent. Highly recommended.

Nice bright premises, not cramped and with attentive, friendly staff. Food was excellent, well presented & plenty of filling. Definitely my new regular tea shop in Sheringham.

Service was great. Plenty of tea. Everything was hot and fresh. We ordered quite a variety for 4 people and all delicious. Great menu.

Excellent choice of food - who could resist the Hebriean Eggs? Think Eggs Benedict, but with black pudding & mushrooms!
Outside dining out back is sheltered but still airy with wisteria and fuschias blooming.

We had just been on the Santa Special train ride and needed to refuel with our little boys. How have we never been in here before? Lovely decor, a great selection of drawing and colouring things to keep the boys occupied, yummy food and wonderful staff who chatted to our 5 and 2 year old and kept them entertained. We will definitely be back and will recommend you to our friends.

Thank you for being the only cafe in Sheringham we could find open on this extremely cold day today!
Very impressed with my cream tea and generous pot of lovely hot tea which warmed us up very nicely thank you !
Will definitely come back next time we're in Sheringham

Fantastic place!! Lovely service. The scones are absolutely scrummy!.... A visit to Sheringham wouldn't be complete without stopping off at starfish tea shop! Xxx

We popped in for a quick sandwich and they took our order and we waited 40 minutes. During this time the table next to us sat down, ordered, received their food, ate it, paid and left. When we asked where our food was the only excuse was ‘I didn’t take the order, for some reason it didn’t reach the kitchen’.
These things happen when you are busy (although with only 7 or 8 tables it should be fairly easy to notice you haven’t served one set of customers yet??!) but with a train to catch we had to cancel our order. To then expect us to pay for our drinks (all £2.20 worth) was embarrassing and pretty lousy service. I’m sure the food is lovely, but sadly we never got to find out.
Oh and who in this day and age doesn’t accept card payments in a bustling seaside resort??!

U sure that's the correct spelling for the address? Hope to visit when back from Devon, so sometime 18th onwards. Really looking forward to our visit.
