We were the only people in the whole restaurant the night we went, looks like they are part way through a refit and not quite finished. The main thing was the food was lovely. They were very short staffed but looking forward to going again and it hopefully looking abit more finished but just needs a
Myself and my wife had a very had a wonderful evening at spice island, don’t be put off by the work in progress!! The food was brilliant and the service was excellent! Nothing was too much bother and we were looked after beyond expectation! Will definitely be going back soon.
I had a takeaway from here and it was delicious! I had a prawn korma, tadka dhall and sag bhaji and they were some of the most tasty I've tried. Really good flavours.
The man who served me was friendly. The food was ready in time and very hot.

The best by far for takeaways. We have tried many others in the area but none were as good as as Spice Island so we will stick to this place in future. Tastiest curry I've had in ages, really good portion size too and especially loved it as do my favourite curry which not many places do. Only thing is missed the mint sauce but not worth losing a star over as the rest was so good! Found our new takeaway
Takeaway for two ordered via telephone for collection. Prompt, helpful and polite service whilst ordering. Food ready when advised and as ever food was excellent and piping hot. Varied and reasonably priced menu plus the restaurant has many covers for dining in. Fantastic service from start to finis

Hospitality was genuinely the best i’ve ever received, me and my wife came late and night and we were treated with so much genuine care and compassion.
Food was amazing too, the dhansak is my favorite dish and these guys did not fail!!

Fantastic night on our weekend away. The best tandoori chicken kahari I've ever had, a great host who has been going for 40 years. A very patient and friendly guy.
